The best of the best in Houston. I have a diner right by my house but choose to drive 20 minutes to go Avalon. The waitstaff is incredibly nice and quick. Now, to the food….. I find myself craving their food 2x a week! Pancakes 🥞 are so delicious and so are the waffles. The bacon is hearty and never limp and fatty. The milkshakes make you forget diabetes exists. The pricing is also right on point. One of my favorite spots in Houston.
The waiter we had was incredible, he had worked there 35 years since 1986 he said, and honing his skill the whole time obviously. he was good. The food was also good .good portions. I really enjoyed it. Very quick ,friendly, witty banter, and best of all he acted like he actually liked what he was doing and put our whole table in a better mood because of it.
Great breakfast spot 🍳 🥞 my whole family loved it! Our server Anita was very welcoming and offered us amazing service! Close to the Galleria is a must visit spot if you want to experience great food, coffee and delicious dessert , keep up the great job Avalon Diner on westheimer
