We love awesome bites! It’s worth the drive wherever you are in Houston. Truely, the best and only allergen friendly bakery in Houston in my opinion. I don’t know how they do it but no other place can beat the flavors, creativity, and TEXTURE of their baked goods and ice cream. It’s truely a miracle walking in there as something who’s gluten and dairy free.

Not only do they charge a fee for using a credit card, they do not give you change if you give them cash, so have the exact amount or a lot of change. I walked out as I only had a $20 bill and was not going to give them $11 tip on a $9 charge. The only coffee they have is drop.

Awesome Bites has the most amazing allergen-friendly treats! I live for the days they make their cinnamon rolls — they’re absolutely incredible. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, but nothing compares to their Blackout Cupcakes on Cupcake Fridays. My fiancé doesn’t have any dietary restrictions, and even he says they’re his favorite cupcake. They’re rich, delicious, and impossible to resist. We can never say no to a Blackout Cupcake when they’re available!

This little shop is such a gift to those of us in the allergy community! My babies are able to have the same treats (ice cream, waffle cones, muffins, cakes, cookies, donuts and more!) as their friends and they are delicious! My little has an egg, wheat and dairy allergy. It is near impossible to find a baker who can work with all 3 of these allergens... ABC does it with ease ❤️
It’s a charming little shop with vegan products. Some of the ice cream flavors may sound unusual at first, but once you try them, you’ll love them. I really enjoyed the Earl Grey lavender paired with strawberry lemon.

Everything is gluten free!!!! They know about all the allergens and contents of the food much better than most places. Of what I tasted it was pretty good, the chocolate chip cookies were very good. They also have a gluten free ice cream cone, which almost no one ever has. They sorted through all our allergies and worked with us, giving us lots of time so we could feel comfortable about allergens. Highly recommended if you have food allergies to gluten or otherwise find desert-type foods hard to find. Only real downside is they have no bathroom, not the end of the world but the restaurant next door will NOT let you use theirs.
