Homemade tortillas both flour and corn made in front of you. The interior is classis Mexican restaurant. We made menudo and tacos. The meat in the menudo melts in your mouth. Takes me back to my youth.

Azteca Taco House is hands down one of the best taco spots in Houston! The tacos are delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. What really stood out to me were the tortillas—fresh, soft, and made right. On top of that, the prices are super affordable, especially compared to other places that overcharge for smaller portions. If you’re looking for real, quality tacos without breaking the bank, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, good portions for the price, hard working and friendly staff, great indoor/outdoor atmosphere
I really liked how this place looks from the outside with all the greenery it gives it such a nice vibe. I tried 4 tacos: picadillo, chicharrón and egg in salsa verde, and mole. Out of those, the mole was my least favorite, but the egg taco was really good. The tortillas, however, could definitely be improved since they got hard pretty quickly. My partner unfortunately didn’t enjoy their food, but I would come back just for the egg taco hopefully next time with better soft tortillas!
