This was my first time going to a Cuban bakery, and I had no idea what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised by the cafe. Beautiful cakes and pretty pastries were neatly showcased in the display cases. I had a hard time choosing the pastries I wanted, because, firstly they all looked super good. Secondly, I did not understand the language, thus, I had to google all the names of the pastries. The staff was sweet and patient as I took my time to select. The cakes that I got: Dobo (my favorite), Rollitos, and Cabezote were delicious. The sponges were soft and fluffy, and the flavors were good. I got the butter cookies as well but they weren't fresh, and weren't buttery rich. I am not in love with the masa real as the top layer was very hard. I reached the cafe at about 10am on a weekday, and there were only two trays of bread in four shelves. About 20mins later, freshly made bread came out from the kitchen one tray after the other. It is probably best to go in the noon time to have full shelves of freshly baked goods. There are two tables with four chairs on each table available for dine-in customers. Most customers got their food to-go. The cafe is clean with simple decor. Parking is plentiful and free.

What terrible service the people who are serving have, I don't think I will ever go back to buy at this establishment, the woman who was there, I don't know her name, making faces when asked to write happy birthday to her (nothing exceptional was requested) because all the cakes were for woman and the cake was for a man, making faces at the customers and rolling their eyes??? I have never seen a worse attitude in an employee and boy have I seen many very bad ones, it's a shame that it was my only viable option at the moment, if you are looking for an option for cakes or bread, look for another one, there are very good Latin pastry shops and bakeries that are not Cuban women who can give you excellent service with delicious flavor.Note: the cake said happy day and it was asked to add the “birth” and guess what? He deleted the day and added nothing!!! It's a joke!!!The worst service ever!!!! The girl rolling the ayes when I request to write happy birthday on the cake (notching exceptional) because all the cake are girly and that cake was for a man, I never saw worse attitude and believe me I saw really bad attitudes before, sadly was my only option I was hurry, if you looking a good option for a cake, keep looking, this is the worst option, there are a good Latin bakeries options that are going to give you a good service and a delicious optionsNote: the cake said “happy day” and I request to add the “birth” and guess what? She scratch the day and left it like that, this is like a joke!!!

We went close to closing, so it's not really fair to review then when all the good things are sold out. I would go back as the pastries were cheap and decent.

I have been to this bakery a handful of times. Every time I have been greeted in a timely manner. It does seem that there are very very few workers at a time but it is a tiny space so hopefully it keeps thriving to employ more workers. I have been helped by Elizabeth a few times and she is always helpful and patient with me. She makes sure that she hands me my food with an authentic smile on her face. The pastries I've had are tasty and the freshly prepared sandwiches(I think they are called something else in a Cuban term) are amazing. The five stars are for Elizabeth and her great customer service! Gracias Elizabeth por dar buen servicio al cliente!

I am from far away where I live there is no Cuban bakery, I longed to feel close to my Cuban environment. Although I have to say that the sweets are good, the customer service is terrible. Two girls tried to kick us, they really have to improve on that

Tried their cafe Cubano and it was nothing like the one in Miami. It was weird that she asked how much sugar. The sugar wasn't stirred all the way. I could taste the bitterness of the coffee.Tried their butter cookies with chocolate and wack. Tried a pastry and it was ok.I don't recommend anything I listed.

I left my card at the bakery. Tried calling back when I realized I had left it but had no luck getting them on the phone. Since it was the holidays they didn't open for several days. The card wasn't used immediately but it was used several times a few days later . Luckily the CC company was able to identify it as Fraud and a few purchases later it was put on stop. I called the store to talk to the manager about this and he was very dismissive.Per our request he checked the cameras and within Two minutes he called us back saying "it wasn't here, the card could've been lost at another place" and he's right, it's could have happened somewhere else but it didn't bc I didn't go anywhere else and I tried calling them immediately. I wasn't asking for money as the CC was covering the fraud but I was for sure expecting a different reaction than what I got. You would think the manager would really want to investigate and be able to remove access from the register from whoever did it in order to avoid something like this to happen again but he wasn't interested. So disappointed! I will not be returning back to this location. Coffee here is LEGIT! It's is definitely the Best thing in the whole bakery . They have a huge variety of Caribbean pastries and a separated section of Mexican bread. I can't speak about the Mexican bread as we only had sweets from the Caribbean side . The quesitos or pastel de quesos were my favorite but I have had better ones. The Cuban sandwich was good . The Sandwich de biste had good flavor but the meat needed to be tenderized- save your teeth and don't order this . The croquettes were fried to order and tasted ok. The location is super small. It has two tables with 4 chairs each. Service is slow and food is overpriced

I drove past this place and saw "Cuban Bakery" and I had to try it. I moved to Houston a year ago from Miami and authentic Cuban food has been hard to find. This place is no where near what you'll have in Miami. I ordered the croquettes, and they tasted like the frozen ones you get at the store. The Cuban sandwich was a 3/10, and the cafe con leche was ok. This place is nothing like Miami. And the staff was not welcoming at all. I'm giving it 3 stars because it was clean on the inside and they tried.
