We are so sad you are closed. Please reopen in the Tanglewood area. You had the best menu for lunch. I think it was just in a tough location. Service was always superb. You will be missed like crazy!!
Probably a good thing they are closing tbh, they really fumbled this visit. Member of my party got sick after eating the medium rare burger they served him.
The food was subpar. My husband ordered a lobster roll which came out and was so small he had four bites and was finished. The fries were cold. The pancakes were cold.
Took 2 main entree staples off the menu. Server was horrible- had to ask for all our drink refills. Delivered half our order of food and just walked off. Food was look warm just ok. Not great
Needs to be part of our brunch rotation! BB Lemon executes classic dishes so well - everything is delicious and approachable. My mom raves about the Ruben, she always wants to try different things but can never convince herself to order anything else. Staff and setting are excellent. Staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The space is so fun with a wide variety of seating choices - tables for date nights overlooking Washington Ave, big group tables in back, bar seating for happy hour, patio and true outdoors. So versatile and so fun. One of our favorite places to go out and bring the kids along with us. So glad this is part of our community
A Semi- Sunday Brunch Report: My girlfriends and I (7 of us) decide to once again pop in and try a new spot but fail short by a disappointing encounter. We did not have reservations because when we logged on their website it was not permitting any. Nevertheless we walked in thinking we may just have to wait at best. We were greeted with a disheveled host who had an expression of pure chaos. When we asked for a table she could not accommodate us, but here’s the kicker.
She was not apologetic, not accommodating (like perhaps mentioning we could wait, or check with the manager to see what could be done) with a very unsettling personality.
We were all terribly annoyed with our overall treatment. We decide not to stay & will not be returning.
The cashier is such a sweetheart ?

We have eaten at BB lemon several times and find it consistently great with great tasting unique menu items. The outdoor patio is especially nice as the weather has been so pleasant!

BB Lemon is a standout in Houston’s dining scene, known for serving the best lemonade in the city. The balance of sweet and tart in every glass makes it the perfect refreshing drink to complement their diverse menu. But the delights don’t stop there—BB Lemon’s crab beignets are nothing short of scrumptious, with a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful crab filling that melts in your mouth. For dessert, their banana pudding is absolutely to die for—rich, creamy, and layered with the perfect amount of sweetness.
The laid-back yet stylish atmosphere at BB Lemon adds to the experience, making it a great spot for everything from a casual lunch to a relaxed dinner. If you’re in Houston, this is a must-visit for an unforgettable meal!

I’m only giving this review 2 stars because of BB Lemon has raised their prices for their WELL BOURBON (bullet bourbon) to $16 a pour? My wife and I had 3 Kentucky mules with their wells and those ended up being $48 dollars for those 3 drinks, I get it being $12 a drink but $16??? I don’t know if it was the staff or the business but this meal was not worth $160. BB butchers is worth that but BB Lemon. I thought this place was for the people… I guess not…

Went for Houston Restaurant Weeks, but have been there before… Service was good, but we had to occasionally get another servers attention since ours was nowhere to be found when needed (not sure how that’s possible in such a small place)… the salads (Cesar and watermelon) were good, not great… Connecticut lobster rolls were very good… the coleslaw was surprisingly good. Cheesecake was good. Patio is great in cooler weather. Recommended
Parking: Small tips only valet lot… street parking is rare/ difficult

This place is always a standout for brunch. We went there with my nephew and his wife. We really is super enjoyed the afternoon. The old fashion was good. The food is always good, and you can't beat that patio atmosphere they have.

Kid-friendliness: There weren't any kids there other than mine, but the outdoor area was pretty chill, so it seemed to be fine.
