I moved to Houston 2 years ago and miss Jersey and New York bagels. So happy to find this bagel shop today. Bagel was delicious.

The bagels are delicious and service is great! I can’t believe they were open on Christmas Day - including the owner, Bob. I love seeing that leadership and camaraderie.
The jalapeño cheddar bagel was perfectly soft and flavorful and the fresh (not pickled!) jalapeños were a great touch that I enjoyed 😋 Will definitely be back!

Definitely the best bagel place in Houston. Enjoyed the lox sandwich and a dozen of the everything bagels with plain cream cheese. Bagels were toasty and hot even when I got home. They have a really good variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

bagels were great, i will definitely be back! we even ordered a slice of cheesecake, which was light and delicious. they have fresh juices aa well. small location, so there may be little to no seating, or it may be crammed. we loved seeing the owner there, he was very kind.

Compared to a NJ/NY bagel, the bagels are on the small and flat side of the scale. The service is unacceptably slow for a bagel joint, but the vibe is definitely similar to a northeast bagel spot

This was my first time at Bagel Bob’s and unfortunately the experience wasn’t great. I ordered a sausage and cheese bagel and confirmed afterward whether it came without egg since I don’t eat egg. The cashier told me it was sausage, egg, and cheese and insisted I ‘didn’t say no egg,’ even though egg wasn’t part of what I ordered. The defensive response was unnecessary, and I’m glad I happened to order two bagels because I could only eat the one without egg. The food was fine, but the customer service left a bad impression for a first visit.
