Overall a great spot especially for date night as has a very romantic atmosphere with good food. The miso salmon was really good and the side salad with it was on point as well. Decent wine selection as well. The service seemed a bit rushed especially for a quiet Monday night. The food did come out really quick which was nice but they tried to take the unfinished plates a few times which was odd. Then when finished and enjoying the wine they brought the check so just made it seems like they wanted to kick you out quick. Besides that the food and ambience are great.Parking: Complimentary valet

Nice place, reminds me of Houston's in the way they designed.Food was great, had the spicy tuna sushi, and Chicken salad. Both delicious.Service was great, our waitress was super nice and friendly.Hostess was very nice and welcoming.Manager came to our table, and she was super nice and cleaned our table.Atmosphere is chill, went during the day, sat on the patio, nice breeze. Only thing is it smells funny on the patio. Maybe need more attention on that matter.Menu is ok in selections but also could be better in terms of variety.Parking is free, and the valet is available.Recommend this place for business lunch.

I had dinner here tonight with my 21 month old son, wife, and another couple.As with all Western Addition Restuarant’s (think Il Bracco, Bobbie’s Airway)- the style of the Restuarant is unrivaled. The environment is almost speakeasyesque, but you don’t feel the need to be quiet or tame your emotions. Instead, the open concept brings to life every conversation and aura.Then there’s the food. Oh the food. Everything you order is magnificent. Each dish is prepared exquisitely, every single time. There is no variance, no guessing. What you want is what you will get, and it will be delicious.They offered my son juice and other things to keep his little curious mind working. He loved it, and really preferred the coconut shrimp- had to order a second for myself.The tuna burger was much better than expected, even with my high expectations.In the end, Balboa is just another great restaurant in the WA lineup. As they continue to open more, I will continue to frequent each of them. Cheers!
The food, ambience and service were fantastic! The King Crab hand rolls and ceviche were our favorite! Everyone that waited on our table was kind and attentive. Our main waitress was so friendly and brought out chilled cocktail glasses to pour our remaining cocktails in when our current ones had lost their chill. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back!

Just entering the restaurant was a treat. It is really beautiful! The food was excellent and so was the service. We ordered an assortment of food so I was able to try the corn chowder, crispy oysters, crab cake, and scallops. Oh I almost forgot the Napa /chopped salad. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to come back. Loved it!
