If you're looking for good food on a budget, this is the place. I haven't been disappointed yet, and I don't think I will be. The tamales are very good and have a decent price.

This was my first experience with Balderas Tamales. I purchased one dozen pork tamales to go. Headed home looking forward to some good tamales. I was greatly disappointed in the very small amount of pork in all of the tamales. It wasn't worth the $15 I spent.Parking: Limited parking in front of the restaurant. They have parking in the back but you have to walk around the building to enter the restaurant.

Best breakfast tacos and tamales around. In the 20 years I've been going I have yet to find an alternative that stacks up.

Great tacos but they don't serve normal food after 3 which should be advertised WAY BETTER.

The only part I don't like is they expect a tip, but they do not come to you to see if you need any service throughoutyour visit. So why tip.

The pork tamales are great. I steam them in my crockpot for family gatherings. Grab a couple of breakfast tacos, they are delicious.

Food was sort of okay. Kind of tastes like Taco Cabana.

Im of Hispanic descent and I have to admit that I judge a restaurant by their Salsa! . So let's not dance around the subject! ;). I have not had this level of authentic food in a very long time. Their salsa is delicious that my taste buds were doing a salsa dance on their own! Service was prompt and courteous. Prices were SUPER affordable, I bought a plate of food, two tacos, and a snack Queso Dip for $19. Unheard of in the economy! I'm really excited to have stumbled across this little gem and plan on bringing my parents whom I know will love it more than me!!

Purchased Chicken tamales on Friday, December 22nd. They were tasteless and just a sprinkle of some king of tasteless ground up chicken.

We have always loved their Tamales. We ordered some for Christmas Eve and they were dried out.. Not good at all. I’d never order anymore if they were like this.. I’ll give them 1 more chance and if dry again .. I won’t be going
