This place is usually great. Tonight I ordered takeout pho. They gave me RAW MEAT inside the vermicelli bowl. Not undercooked or not cooked to my preference. Literally RAW. Really? The whole point is to pick up so I don’t have to cook or clean!!

We are from out of town and found this place online. Thinking to try it, we went in and while we're eating roaches began crawling around the wall in front of us near my sister's head. We were not happy at all, I attempted to get a photo but my family ran out very quickly upset at the idea of what sanitation practices lay within the kitchen as roaches tend to bring that to mind. The food was atleast decent before that and the tea is good but the roaches threw that away.

My fiancée and I were looking at something different nearby and this popped out as the most top rated and affordable Vietnamese sandwiches. Walking in, it was a cozy environment, with lots of seating. My fiancée had the vegetarian Banh Mi and she says it's was okay but not very good compared to the others she had tried. I had the shaken beef with rice. I thought it was a reasonable price and I wasn't disappointed in it. The egg roll that was included was the star of that dish though. I love the crispy, crunchy and that flavorful bite each time I took a bite. I recommend you get the egg rolls! When we were close to finishing eating, there was a small roach running down the wall where we were seating. It made our appetite completely gone. We did not enjoy feeling like we ate at a place that might not be sanitary and questioned if our meal was affected by it.

this is officially my second visit, but first review of Banh Mi and Tea. It is located between Sprouts and Snappy Nail Salon. It's easy to find since it is the only Banh Mi place in this lot. As you walk inside, you are greeted with good music and a sort of warm cozy environment. The food here is fresh and seems to be consistent to my last visit. My egg rolls came out piping hot with the perfect crispness. I also ordered a pork banh mi with extra patí. This was definitely good to the last bite, its actually the reason i came back and it was worth it! Pairing all of this with a Tai tea to wash it all down.. As for service it's tipically average for a bang mi shop, but if i had to rate it they still get 5 stars for walking the food to my table and checking up on me.

A Vietnamese-American sandwich style, busy restaurant, there is space for dine too. It’s about 25-30mins away from Bellaire, however my family can find pho, banhmi and even Vietnamese

This place is okay. I've tried their pho and I've tried their banh mi and while it's good, I have my own grievances with either dish. Regarding the pho, I feel like it isn't as flavorful or as well-cooked as it could be. This could be my personal preference, but I like more flavor in my pho. It's just very, very light and one-note. The accoutrement help a bit but not much - I wish the meat brought something more to the party. Their banh mi is decent; however, I got a rogue jalapeño once and it was EXTREMELY SPICY - I cried! I feel their vermicelli bowls are where it's at. I love their grilled pork and the egg rolls they serve with is phenomenal. The staff are never very engaging. They always seem to be in a bit of a rush. The atmosphere is okay, we always sit at the benches in the back because they have a good view. I'll come again for a weekday, but Banh Mi and Tea won't ever be a place I think of on the weekend or the venue when I'm celebrating something major.

Love their pork banh mi and my smoothies! Takes a little long for my sandwich but kinda worth it in the end.

Really good bubble tea. I only had shrimp spring rolls... The shrimp spring rolls were just okay--not the most authentic. The sauce was too fishy and the rolls were missing a few ingredients.

Food was ok. I had the Thai fish bahn mi, not worth the extra price. Essentially was a small piece of a fish cake in between thick french bread. Steak and egg platter was pretty decent. Bubble teas where not delicious. Staff was friendly. Probably won't be back.

Ordered (1) LARGE Bun Bo Hue to go and it came with (3) pieces of meat. I thought a large would come with a bit more considering I paid $1 extra for a large, $1 extra for to-go and another $1 extra for extra veggies. The extra veggies was just cilantro, instead of Basil. I thought i was going to recieve some vietnamese style vegetables like shown on the website menu photos. I also got the honey lemon green tea with boba. Which was another $1 to add boba. (Boba was very stale) I think they just charge $1 extra for anything, so be careful when requesting any extra items. Bun bo hue was good though, just wish the meat ratio to noodles was a bit better. It was my fault for ordering a soup dish at a Banh Mi restaurant!

This place is our go to for banh mi, rice bowls and teas. The service is okay and the food is good. I like that they have an assortment of banh mi because I like the Korean beef one but I wish it had more meat. Their shaken beef rice bowl is good but stick with the steamed rice. I thought the fried rice was mushy. It was not fried rice--more like reheated rice with soy sauce. They have a large variety of teas and drinks. I also love their chicken dumplings, egg rolls and spring rolls. If you're interested, they have cute little macarons in many flavors. I also like that they use four stars so I usually get free drink or egg roll just about every time I go.

We're not super familiar with the area where this restaurant is located. I was simply looking for Vietnamese coffee and stopped by. Alas, looking at the wonderful food on other customers' tables was inspiration for me to order and sit down to enjoy. We had a fantastic meal and service was warm, welcoming, and prompt. Even though this location is not close to our home, we will be back and we will bring friends with us!
