Great spot to grab a drink before dinner at Doku or nearby. Reservations recommended as its a small space! Creative drinks with high-end ingredients. Rating lower as the bar was out of olives! As a martini bar, we found that quite surprising!

Very cool bar with a speakeasy vibe. Awesome craft cocktails and an amazing Japanese whiskey selection. Great stop before dinner at Doko too! Both are amazing!!

Highly innovative drinks and very different from the norm

near multiple high end steak and sushi places and autry park

low lighting interior with modern decor and pops of color with the centerpieces. It is a more intimate setting and only accommodates a few tables

very attentive and good service, they start with warm towels to clean your hands and give you a small plum soda as a palate cleanser

. The drinks are very original and are Japanese focused and include things like highballs and Japanese whiskeys. Something to know is that the drinks are largely umami flavored. If you like sweeter drinks they don’t have many, although there are dessert drinks. My significant other really enjoyed the fury winter highball which he said was fresh and crisp. The kakitori was like eating shaved ice with chocolate biscuits. The matcha drink was smooth and lightly sweet

Definitely worth it!

It's an intimate bar with an excellent menu. There was a table of 6-7 loud bro's and shrill girls, all drunk, shouting. The cool vibe went from 10 to 0. The staff did nothing other than get them more drunk and it was unpleasant. The server could only tell me if drinks were savory or sweet. This place would have done well on Westheimer with better management. It's in Autrey park so you can expect this clientele to be omnipresent. I hope they improve as I would like to try some of their other drinks- the drinks were quite good.

Bar Doko was very alcohol-forward. If you like your drinks very strong, this is the place for you. The snacks that they provide are very delicious.

The drinks were masterful! Delicious, unique and worth every penny. I was only disappointed that the music was too loud. I was hoping for a quieter environment for easy conversation. Something for you to consider.

An exquisite bar in Houston that is a true gem. Every drink was unique and expertly crafted. First time trying mushroom in a cocktail and it was so balanced and rich. This spot is on my top 5 favorite bars.

We popped in for a drink (with no reservation) before our 7pm dinner next door at Doko. When we arrived around 6:15 we were the only patrons in the small bar but I gather that because of it’s size they function mostly by reservation. We let them know about our dinner reservation next door and that we would be out by 7 so they were able to accommodate us for a cocktail. My husband enjoyed the Sora Sky cocktail and our friend really liked the Matcha IPA. The atmosphere was very cool and cozy and reminiscent of bars in the Golden Gai district of Tokyo. I would happily come back here but probably only if I was having dinner in the Autry park development because, and I could be wrong, but the garage parking is valet only.

We had an incredible experience. The drinks were creative, well balanced and delicious. The staff were knowledgeable about their drinks, made excellent recommendations. The whole experience was amazing from the ambience, the alluring smell, the yummy bar snacks, the warm hand towels, and the warm hospitality of the staff! Definitely a great night cap! The venue is small and intimate so reservation on busy nights is definitely helpful.

Incredibly unprofessional. Tried to walk-in with my fiance and was told by the host they were at full capacity - it looked full but there was one free high top. As we walk out, two young, college aged girls walk in saying they don’t have a reservation either but the host says “let me see what I can do for you”.

The drinks were good and a step above the average cocktail you find in Houston but I don’t think they were worth $18-20.
Service was blah and impersonal.
Honestly if the bar’s goal is to be a speakeasy then it’s missing the mark.
And if they don’t improve their service and lower the prices, this place will be gone soon.
