Bar Moon is an absolute gem in Houston! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy — perfect for a night out with friends or a relaxed evening drink. The cocktails are creative, beautifully presented, and expertly balanced. You can tell the bartenders really know their craft.

The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The music and overall vibe create a fun, upbeat energy without being overwhelming.

If you’re looking for a stylish spot with great drinks and a welcoming ambiance, Bar Moon is definitely worth a visit. I’ll absolutely be coming back! 🍸✨

I’ve heard about this place, didn’t really believe anything until I went, fire food, fire service, cool and high keep atmosphere. Rate it 5/5, definitely coming back as a regular. I do recommend.

We had a reservation here for Valentine’s Day at 9pm… I was so excited to try this place especially because we had made reservations weeks ago. When we got there I liked the vibe of the place & we were seated. One person gave us water & then we sat there for 35 minutes with no service. The waiters/waitresses talked to everyone but us. I have no idea why. We were patiently waiting but still more time passed and the tables around us were getting drinks. We eventually just left & I was extremely disappointed because we had this planned as part of our date. I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately I have to this time. I won’t be back, hopefully they can take the feedback and be more inclusive to their future guests.

Had a reservation and waited twenty minutes for a standing table. Waited another 30 min to be acknowledged and order drinks. Small space rude staff this one is a skip.

Bait and switch, hotel conference room vibes. Email stated chill DJ and seating in main bar area with good ambiance, nope. We were seated in no kidding the overflow area. First sign was going to be cluster was line forming at the elevator prior to 7pm. Couple in front of us had been waiting for 15 minutes for host to come back downstairs. Finally made it upstairs and had to wait additional five minutes for a table. Service was extremely disorganized and slow. My husband never received the cocktail he ordered. Talking to tables next to us, exact same experience. Finally made it through the three courses, check came and had five cocktails we never ordered on the bill. Took another 15 minutes to get bill sorted and ready to leave. Walked through main bar area and the decor is nice, but honestly no one there seemed to be having a good time. Patrons in lobby waiting over their reservation time, others mentioned they spent more time there than they wanted due to slow service (over 3.5 hours). Did not feel like they knew what they were doing, do not recommend.

Had a 10pm reservation 2/7 and showed up on time. We were offered to stand at high top while wearing high heels. They couldn’t honor our reservation. Then I get a email from OpenTable saying I didn’t show up, not cool. Not sure if they are aware but when they say you didn’t show it makes it harder for you to book in the future and I definitely came but they had bo tables. I understand guest sometimes stay over but when you have multiple reservations coming up you have to give them a warning so the next guest can be seated. However from the short walk thur it appeared to nice small intimate speakeasy. Dj was playing musics and the lighting was good. Wish we could have experienced the drinks.

Tried this place tonight for drinks before our dinner reservation so didn’t try any of the food. It was a really nice vibe and the drinks were very good. They greeted us off the elevator with complementary treats and it was delicious. The drinks were top notch and the service was just as great! She was very attentive and polite. Additionally, it was very clean and aesthetic inside. I would definitely come back again!

Bar Moon is such a great place to celebrate a special event. My friends and I visited for the first time. We made reservations and were greeted with a complimentary shot which was a nice surprise. Once we were seated, the waitress was so prompt and friendly and the service was so quick! Highly recommend this spot for drinks and good vibes. We will definitely be back!

Had high expectations but was disappointed. Service was very poor our waitress was not helpful in suggesting or guiding the menu. She was not attentive or very friendly. Drinks were good the cilantro foam was creative and tasty. Food was overpriced. Overall would not recommend or come back.

I have been twice now and have enjoyed my experiences thoroughly! Alex at the door is kind and courteous and super helpful in getting us a table when we have been to this venue. Alexandra, the general manager is such a delight! She takes time to engage you and talk to you and actually is an incredibly talented and lovely person to chat with! Make sure you meet her if you’re there.
It’s a beautifully decorated bar with dim lighting and wonderful music played by DJ. It’s cozy and intimate whether you’re at the bar or sitting at a table. I will definitely go over and over again. Make a reservation !

This was my first time here i had the soleil cocktail. It was delicious and citrusy. Thank you to Alex for escorting us to our table and for having such a wonderful attitude at the door even through cold weather!
