I recently hosted a client dinner at Barbacana with a party of 10 and they knocked it out of the park.
Chef Christian Hernandez put together a great experience. Every course was well done and the wine pairings were spot on and reasonably priced. It felt like a true culinary experience, not just a client dinner.
The service was equally impressive. The staff walked us through each course, explained the ingredients and pairings, and handled our larger group without missing a beat.

Very busy for Valentine's Day, as expected, but the food was absolutely stunning. The chef delivers an incredible menu — every dish was beautifully executed and full of flavor. It was truly an exceptional dining experience, and we will definitely be back. There was a small issue regarding the seating preferences noted in my reservation. Initially, we were told the request couldn't be accommodated, which was a bit disappointing. However, the host handled the situation...
Absolutely delicious. Some of the best food in the city. It was so quiet on a Thursday as well. It almost seems like a hidden gem at this point. Had a small plate, tartare, and medium plate. It was 3 amazing courses. Can't wait for the next visit. Oh, the dessert was outstanding too.
