I rarely give bad reviews. The salmon was dry, OJ tasted rotten, chicken was also dry, salad was marginal, burger was ok, asparagus was old and stringy, homemade mac&cheese was mushy. Very rare that just about every served was bad. Service was good. Staff was very friendly overall.

DONT EAT HERE!!!!! The food actually wasnt bad but this was by far the worst servie I have ever had. When I first entered the reataurant no one gretted me and the person who was suppose to be at the front who was a tall guy with a heavy accent had a bad attitude, it was very distasteful and not a good look for the company.

I was very hungry and found Barnaby’s Cafe and all i have to say is the food was so GOOD! The service was top tier for me and there was plenty of refills LOL! 🤩😁❤️❤️

Came here earlier this week amazing customer service and amazing food ! I came in 10 minutes before they opened I came inside knowing I might get turned away due to coming in before they opened however I was promptly seated and given my drink order. Highly recommend this spot! Only caveat is I wanted to enjoy my time inside the restaurant but felt rushed due to being asked if I needed a to go box and a to go cup while I was still eating which I completely understand since it was during Monday to Friday lunch rush but would have been nice to have been able to be given time to finish my meal.

If you have ever been to the location in the Montrose Area, don't come here. It will only disappoint. The Lasagna was served cold in the middle. The servers were taking to themselves, had to get up and have the Host send it back. Received microwave hard Lasagna. Not worth the overall $30

Barnaby’s never has given me bad service. Every location, including this one. The food is amazing with large portions. I have never had any anything I never disliked even though 50% of the time when I go there, I always order lasagna because it’s like hands-down my favorite thing on the menu. Everything else I have there is delicious. The salads are huge and it’ll take days to eat them. I recently had the French dip which is another favorite item of mine. I had my birthday dinner there two days ago at the Fairview location and everything was perfect. The staff did an amazing job accommodating the amount of guests I had. I had around 18 people and they were able to accommodate it without even having a reservation and that’s really hard to find especially this time of the year during the holiday season. It’s really hard having a December birthday considering people are celebrating the holidays and most restaurants tend to be super busy than usual and I appreciate everything the restaurant did the night of my birthday. It couldn’t have been any better. Thank you guys for giving me such a good birthday experience with all of my friends being together. The staff is always incredible going above and beyond. The food is always very delicious and large portions. If I could give any recommendations, I would love for you guys to get more cake flavors. I think red velvet would be amazing for you guys. However, I really appreciate everything you all did. Thank you.

Not the greatest food in Houston, but they really do have some incredible salads. I have ordered the Mediterranean salad more times than I can count. Almost always get it to go or delivered. They have great delivery bags that have a tear away seel to know it hasn't been tampered with.

Never got a chance to seat down to taste the food, my dog and I walked in he said we had to eat outside in the heat at a place I'm about to spend money.im a food delivery driver I thought it was OK for dogs to eat there since I saw a dog inside the guy waiting on me touching him..He said that dog is different...never ever again..different how the guy was white or the owner, if I'm excluded and I'm a paying customer he shouldn't be able to do it.

Service was very good. Greeted right away and fast. Food was good with the sandwiches we got (turkey and ham) having a good helping of deli slices. ($30 for 2 with just water for our drinks). Atmosphere was a little outdated and you have to pay to park anywhere near it. I’d recommend.

This restaurant never disappoints! The food and service are always top-notch. They have the best, most polite, and attentive waiters who truly make you feel welcome. The salad is always fresh and delicious, and the chicken portions are huge—definitely more than fair for the price.
