I'd give this place a zero rating if I could. My wife and I visited this club on a Friday evening, and it was a complete disaster. The entry fee was a whopping $60 per person, which was way overpriced. We've been to many clubs around the country, and this one didn't impress us at all. As soon as we entered, we felt like we were trapped in a small, congested space. The air was thick with vape and smoke, and people were openly smoking and doing drugs in the restrooms, despite the presence of security guards. We felt totally unsafe and uncomfortable. To top it all off, the drinks at the bar were ridiculously overpriced. We had a horrible experience and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a great evening.

Tonight they're Charging $25 a head. Wtff? No thanks! Guess it's worth it, if you shell out that$$$, cause you need to. This is a huge town where there is no cover charge at a lot of places. Here early and still they want to charge. IT's EDM, House....... All the time when you've got your earphones, when it's free.

Update: the attack I faced by the thug bouncers still leaves me with nightmares, 2&1/2 years after the attack.
I was dancing with friends and I bumped the stage. A bouncer threw me out immediately (without warning - I had not idea touching the stage would result in this action) - Note, the bouncer grabbed me by the neck and threw me out - and consequently a party of 8 left traumatised. When I protested the bouncers physically assaulted me (punching me in the face) and refused to explain their reason. The scale and severity of their actions was uncalled for. Do not visit this club if you value your safety.

Great venue, drinks are pricy, but the place is a vibe.
Bauhaus is easily one of my favorite spots in Houston. I DJ here regularly, but even if I didn’t, it would still be my go-to. The vibe they’ve created is something special – Baufam really does feel like a real community. The music leans across different sub-genres of house and techno, and they consistently bring in quality headliners. It’s not generic mainstream stuff, but it’s not so underground that it feels unapproachable either. Great balance.
The layout is a big plus: three stages (main room, lounge, and the outdoor patio) each with their own feel, so you can switch it up throughout the night. I also really appreciate that they do community-focused events for things like Christmas, Diwali, Eid, Thanksgiving, and more – it shows they actually care about the people who come through, not just the bar sales.
Sammy, Raz, and Hamsa do an excellent job running the place and are genuinely welcoming. The staff, bartenders, and security are always professional and respectful, and it feels like a safe place to hang out, dance, and enjoy the music. Strongly recommend Bauhaus if you’re into house and techno and want a spot with real character.

Great place to catch your favorite EDM artists. House, techno, trance are their primaries. Get in early to get those early bird tickets. Venue is small and intimate so you can really get immersed in the vibe the artist is bringing. Sometimes I wish the music was louder as the crowd noise can interfere at times.
