Came here driving through Houston late at night and even still the service was excellent alongside the food. Didn’t get pictures of everything but we ordered the Tex-Cajun fries that are plenty filling despite being an appetizer, shrimp gumbo with a half and half po-boy, and the redfish etouffee. All delicious and not long of a wait at all either. They have some fun non alcoholic drink options too which is nice, the cucumber mint limeade is nice and tangy.

We went yesterday to get our crawfish fix.... never again!!!!!!! We ordered 5 pounds. At least half, if not more was not edible... straight tails and sooooo mushy u couldn't pull the tail off. And they were soooooooo small. For $10.99 a pound i expected sooooooo much more!!!!! Not to mention my drink was empty when the crawfish was brought and the waitress left so quick and I tried to stop her to ask for refill and she kept going... then just stood in the back with her back to us talking to her coworkers. . . All 4 of our drinks were empty through the whole time eating our crawfish. We were eating our ice. She finally came back when we were finished eating and got us refills. $116 for trash and poor service!!!!!! Never again will we eat here, nor recommend it..... horrrrrible... if i could give negative stars, i would!

This place is a joke. Wasn't crowded but took us 5 minutes just to get seated. We waited 10 minutes for the lone server who never even came to our table so we had to walk out. I told the host who seated us we were going to leave and he apologized and said there was nothing he could do about it. Berg has been having financial issues and now I can see why. We obviously won't be back.

Had the pleasure of having Gerland take spectacular care of me tonight.
Their chicken & sausage gumbo (with extra chicken) is my favorite. Along with some sides in their famous Tex-Orleans sauce.
Their appetizers are pretty good as well. their fried pickles are great, i always appreciate the slices over the spears and how crispy they are. Today was a refried beans & sausage queso dip
Wait time is never usually a issue they have a pretty great space to work with.
