Maybe this location should stop doing Doordash orders. If you see the reviews there most are negative regarding food & how much time it takes to pick up. This location is beyond inconsistent , quality-wise. Last time I got their Gumbo it was great ( nice quality shrimp & was Correct -the garlic toast which was obscenely tiny). This time it was like i got someone's gumbo leftovers. It was the incorrect gumbo (i purchased the shrimp w crab , i got the sausage & chicken w the tiniest shrimp & little tiny flakes of crab < looked like fish or cat food). the rice , which is super tiny , was crunchy & uncooked. I don't eat sausage and the whole gumbo tasted like sausage 🤢 it was not cheap and this time instead of tiny toast I got zero. The hushpuppies I paid for on the side was hard little pucks. I don't know if theres a good cook sometimes and a bad cook , cause there is so much inconsistency, especially for the doordash orders. The main thing that's consistent is if you order pickup you'll be waiting an extra 15 minutes past the time it says its ready.
Guess if I want bbs I gotta drive to Heights. I'm a Montrose resident, literally live across the street.
