Great little speakeasy in downtown. While visiting with a friend, we did notice that the security prevented some people that had had way too many drinks from coming back in so that made us feel confident and safe, knowing that they do monitor that kind of thing and it keeps the environment pretty friendly. Their drinks are very high class with unique ingredients and are very flavorful. However, if you’re planning on having more than one drink, this might not be the spot as they are very pricey, but worth the price for at least one. Will be coming back for sure.

Ethan is great, so is Daniel. Every time ive come here I've loved the cocktails. They had a lavender one last year I adored, and the newer mango one is delicious. The bar is super fun and the aesthetic is on point. Take selfies in the women's bathroom, they come out amazing

I dropped by Behind Closed Doors when I was exploring new places on Main Street in downtown Houston. It's hidden in an office building and has three rooms. I attended the hidden speakeasy in their Gold Room. They have some really interesting cocktails that have exquisite Brandies from around the world. The drinks were made fast and the service was great. The Dj was hit or miss. They had a really cool jukebox where if you press the letters L-G-B-T, the entire bar lights up even more with these neon lights. I'm probably childish for liking that but I thought that was cute and a cool discovery.

We were roaming around and exploring Houston Downtown when we stumbled upon this hidden gem of a bar. It is a very unique bar. The entrance, adorned with a mesmerizing spiral of lights, instantly caught our attention. Stepped inside to discover and we were pleasantly surprised by the uniquely designed bar. The ambiance is captivating with a cool vibe.

Interesting vibe, a novel speakeasy with creative drinks, knowledgeable bartenders. Bartenders are fantastic! Enjoyed grabbing drinks here after the Championship Game, Go Blue! Heard the food was excellent but we arrived too late to try the food though. Definitely drop by if you are in downtown Houston

Super cool bar with secret rooms. It’s like a 3-4 bar in room. All the rooms have different DJs so you can find what ambience you like the most. Lighting is pretty lit and it’s a great option for bar hopping downtown.
Loved Behind Closed Doors! This was a fun spot on a Friday night downtown. Obviously, a great vibe and instagram worthy esthetic. The "hidden bar-Speakeasy" The Gold room, was nice and a more intimate place to relax with a drink. High end liquors, nice bar tenders but the drink was about an 8/10. It was good but nothing special or that stood out about them. $38 for an Old Fashioned and a Sidecar, tip is automatically applied and that's fine. I appreciate them pointing that out. Main bar with all the fun lights and retro feel is a lot of fun as well and also has some smaller food options which was needed at this point. We got the dip which was supposed to have caviar but definitely didn't but was still good. We also got the Wagyu hot dog which was actually really good! The star of the night for me was the drink my wife and I both ordered "Burn After Reading" it was sweet, sour, smoky and spicy. A really incredible drink! Again, tip is included and drinks are less expensive at the front bar. If you leave the tab open it follows you throughout the venue- a nice touch. All in all, it was a lot of fun and a great start to our night. Would definitely come back especially when entertaining friends from out of town.
