Our waitress did not understand our order and two items were not noted. Our cook looked flustered and didn't have a solution. The waitress seemed like she understood but sort of brushed us off when asking about certain items.

I was disappointed because I made reservations for two for my birthday in the bar area which was confirmed but when I arrived I was told there were no tables available due to a large party that was also going on in the bar area. My date and I had to sit at the bar instead of having a table to celebrate my birthday. Therefore we just ordered bowls of rice and one drink each at the bar and then left. Was not the birthday experience I was hoping for.

I went for their new Wagyu menu and it was delicious and super affordable! They have three different types of Wagyu and we each got a different one so we could try all three. The value is so good compared to anywhere else. It was around $60 for a nice size steak plus you get the soup, salad, shrimp, rice, veggies and ice cream. So good!

My Dinner at Benihana was phenomenal, we tried their new wagyu collection and the flavor blew me away. The staff were accommodating to my toddler and baby, so excited to celebrate at this location again 10/10 service.

I had a wonderful Sunday evening at the Benihana Houston Westheimer location. My family and I were greeted once we arrived and were offered an option to be seated at the bar until our table was ready (we arrived a few mins early). The manager Adrian was so friendly, knowledgeable and hospitable, so was our waitress and chef Billy. We had so much food and we took the leftovers home! From the high energy to the location hospitality to the chef's art of cooking to the amazing food— I'd def be back! Thank you so much, guys!

Habachi chef was great but the server was lacking and super slow. We left before tea was served at the end because we were just sitting there forever after food was finished. Also charged for the 6 course even though everyone ordered 5 course.

For 3 years now we have gone here on New Year's Day. One of our first dates was at this location. Now it's turned into a new tradition for us. It's always a nice and enjoyable event.

I went to New Year's Eve dinner with my husband and 8 year old son. The food had no flavor and did not taste good at all. My Shrimp did not have any seasoning and was very disappointing. My husband also did not enjoy his filet. We was also celebrating our birthdays. We will not be returning because there are far more restaurants that offer better food.

We generally enjoy Benihana- the food and the experience, but last night it was a terrible experience. Specifically, we had an OpenTable reservation for 6:45pm, but we were not seated until 7:30pm - 45 minutes late. The staff had no explanation for the delays. This happened to multiple guest groups. After the delayed seating, the hibachi chef did not make it to our table until an hour later — 8:30pm. So now we have been at the restaurant for 1.5 hours after our “scheduled” reservation. Consequently, we weren't served our main courses until 9pm. We feel this fell well below the typical Benihana standard

Place is in need of renovation update with a complete deep clean. Service in the bar was slow. All areas of the restaurant were very worn.

Even with a reservation, we waited. The restaurant was dirty and smoky, and even worse was water from the AC dripping onto people while they ate. Very disappointing and overpriced.

Been so long I haven't been back and it good to be back. Went here for my daughter bday! Family was happy! Food and chef, waiter was great. Price went a lot up but over all will return again.

It was our first real hibachi experience. The food was great, customer service was definitely unquestionable. however we won't be back for a few reasons: 1. there was water drops from the Ac right behind our seat. We were very uncomfortable the entire time and somewhat wet on certain spot on our (mine and my husband) clothes. 2. they didnt have time to fully clean up the floor. The floor is very oily. It was pretty sleeky to walk on that floor with shoes on. I didnt even try to look down because Im afraid I would be disguisted by it. 3. Pricing for kids menu could be way better that what they have. 4. Seatings are super tight. They need to consider giving 3 more feet space between tables to give more comfortable anbiance

We should have left, as soon as we walked in, when we heard one of the hosts exclaim she hated her job. Despite having a reservation, we waited over 45 minutes. Once we got to our table, we waited another 30minutes for our waitress/chef. I had to ask for a clean plate, minus hair. We went through most of the meal without napkins, despite asking our waitress twice and another server. I finally resorted to asking one of the hosts. The food was good, but not worth the wait, attitudes or dirty environment. The overall restaurant is very worn out and ran through. The signs of water damage and patches of mold on the wall and tables that were worn/scratched/desperately in need of wood stain were our experience topper. Someone else may have a better experience with a better server, but the environment and cleanliness can't be overlooked-especially the mold!

This is a wonderful place. The noise level is kinda high but fine unless you are noise sensitive. Our Chef was funny and very good. The only complaint is that it took quite awhile to get our drinks from the bar-it was Christmas Day though. Food was hot and Yummy. Our hostess/server was so kind and polite. Overall, good experience at Benihana!
