I recently had a disappointing experience with takeout service at Benihana. Upon receiving my order, I noticed that the food presentation inside the container was extremely sloppy. This was surprising as Benihana is usually known for their meticulous attention to detail, especially in presentation.When I addressed the issue, the staff insisted that the food must have “shifted” during handling. However, I had not handled or moved the order myself; it was entirely managed by the restaurant staff from preparation to handover. This response was unsatisfactory as it seemed to dismiss the concern without acknowledging a possible mishap during the packing process itself.The situation was further exacerbated by the staff’s approach to the conversation. Rather than providing a listening ear or a possible solution, the response felt dismissive, leaving me, as a customer, feeling unvalued.Overall, the experience was not up to the standards expected from a restaurant of Benihana’s caliber, particularly in customer service and quality assurance of takeout orders. I hope this feedback serves as a constructive critique, emphasizing the importance of both food presentation and respectful, solution-oriented communication with customers.
I WAITED AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES AFTER MY RESERVATION AND THEY JUST VROUGHT OUT SOUP AND SALAD AND THE CHEF HADNT COME AND EVERY TAVBLE BEFORE US HAS. I’M TWEAKING OUT. I WANTSD TO TICEL THE AAITER. if that waiter isn’t fired by next week I’mgonna cream all over the place (ok but GENUINLY I’m ok he verge of tears bc I’mwriting this whole I’mwaiting for my food and it’s still here and I’ve been writing for ten minutes. THIS IS CRAZY. The cooks are edging us vri they walk to our table n run around the last second, HE SAID FIVE MINUTES ITS BESN FIFTEEN MINUTES. Watch out for balding middle age white man, doesn’t say you’re welcome after thank , weird long mustache. He can’t do bud job he got confused from our order and didn’t clarify until forty minutes later!!!!! ????????. I HAE THAT SERVER W A BURNING PASSION FIRE HIM RN

I come here more often than I’d like to admit. I dine solo most times so I prefer coming early weekdays when the party groups haven’t arrived yet. Gave a 4/5 for food only because I don’t like the fried rice regardless if it’s spicy or not, extra butter, extra veggies - nothing can make me like it because they’re using sushi rice.. Everything else that I have tried has always been good. The nonalcoholic drinks, the alcoholic drinks, the Japanese sodas… very good.

I recently ordered takeout from Benihana and was extremely disappointed with the quality and portion size of the meal. I ordered a steak Hibachi for two and a chicken Hibachi for two, expecting a satisfying meal for my husband and me. However, what we received was far from satisfactory.The portions were incredibly small, barely enough for one person, let alone two. The steak was overcooked and chopped into tiny, pebble-sized pieces, with what seemed like no more than a tablespoon of meat. The chicken order was similarly disappointing, lacking in both quantity and quality.As frequent patrons of Benihana, we were used to enjoying generous servings of meat, delicious fried rice, and flavorful vegetables when dining in. However, the takeout meal we received was nothing like what we were accustomed to. It felt like we had paid a premium for what amounted to overpriced fried rice, with barely any meat and no vegetables to speak of.Overall, we were deeply disappointed and felt offended by the lackluster quality of the food. If given the opportunity, I would request a refund for the subpar meal we received. Benihana has always been a favorite dining spot for us, but this experience has left a sour taste in our mouths.

Waiter was completely rude to my parents only came by once every 40 minutes. He had no problem helping the people next to them and even brought out almost cold food and got mad when they politely asked to reheat it. After 30 minutes of being done eating and asking for the check they had to get the manager to ring them up. I’m ashamed they left a tip for that sorry excuse for a waiter

I went to Benihana for a friend’s birthday. We were able to make reservations ahead of time which is a plus. We were seated promptly once our party arrived. Our server took our drink and appetizer orders quickly. The hibachi chef was very entertaining. I would recommend the Jonah chi shrimp and the side cart as a drink.
came with a couple of friends for a birthday, the chef took so long to cook . We also waited for him for a long time after a reservation was made . for a couple hibachi is around $200 with tip and 2 drinks each .
