We have heard about this brand new gorgeous place and were excited to dine in. Well, our expectations were underwhelmed, to say the least.Good: beautiful interior design, ambient atmosphere, we liked our waiter.Bad: food was not good, especially, considering the inflated prices. We ordered four dishes, were impressed with none.We are not coming back for a second try or recommending this place.

Dumplings very good, Peking Duck also available (in other classic restaurants have to order 24 hours ahead). Cocktails very elective and delicious. Great, fun place for whole spectrum, first date or anniversary.

Amazing food! Amazing service! Shrimp dumplings...crab rangoon...crispy orange beef...mooshu pork...soft shell crab fried rice...all wonderful! I haven't found a Chinese restaurant in the area that I really like! Will definitely be back and recommending to others!

I had a great time celebrating my birthday with hubby. Joy was my server and she was excellent. Joy was very patient, we felt special and she explained every thing to us since that was our first time. We will definitely be back with my friends and children. Ms. Jackie the manager was all over making sure the customer were satisfied. Food was very tasty and delicious. I also got a birthday card! If you are concerned about parking since it is downtown, there is Valet and you just have to tip them.

This restaurant is the most special restaurant in town with service that exceeds any fine restaurant. You have ever been to. The food is amazing. Every bite is a rainbow of flavors , and the service and attention to you is impeccable. This is a must for dining pleasure

Everything was so fresh! Came here for my friends 31st birthday. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the vibe.

I been to Benny's multiple times the food was horrible wontons hard and cold; seafood fry rice they changed the recipe - it was horrible. Will not go again. The kiss of death for a restaurant is to have an inconsistent kitchen. For the price you pay you at a minimum expect that!

Atmosphere was great. While most of the food was good, I do think the prices were a little inflated to account for the location and atmosphere of the restaurant. The taste of some other items on the menu that I had, unfortunately, did not match the price they were set at. Cocktails were not mixed well, unless the two drinks that I had were built in the glass instead of shaken or stirred. Lastly, service, to be frank, was terrible. The server knew it was our first time and still hardly attended to us. He came over as we were finishing to ask if everything came out correctly and was tasting alright, instead of when the food came out or shortly after. The server assistant stood there with an attitude seemingly for about 5 seconds, as I moved the plate and informed her that the oysters could not be in front of my sister who has a shellfish allergy. Overall, I was just very dissatisfied with the experience and will not be returning.

The atmosphere is nice and the decor in the restaurant is cool. The service was very good. Our server paid attention to us and made good recommendations. The food was...not good. We got three different dumplings and the brisket egg roll to start. The crystal shrimp dumplings were the best and still had little to no flavor. The uni shu mai dumplings did not taste good at all. The crab XLB soup dumplings were not much better. The brisket egg roll is a better idea on paper than in actuality. The brisket is from Truth BBQ, but it was not really designed for an egg roll. The egg roll tasted like something you'd get from Chili's.We also ordered the sweet & sour pork ribs and perhaps I was looking for something more along the lines of a traditional spare rib in a Chinese restaurant. The ribs were not flavorful, the breading was too thick and the whole dish was very underwhelming. Those items plus three soft drinks was $145. So far the best Berg Hospitality restaurant is B&B Butchers. The rest of them have left a lot to be desired.

Swanky nice atmosphere, beautiful private room (highly recommend), menu includes most traditional dishes. The food was great, but nothing stuck out as out of the ordinary. Good environment for a night out! Good cocktails and good attention.

Food was good however prices are absolutely outrageous. This is not Las Vegas. Also if you are going to give me red wine after I had white wine give me a new glass. I know it's a small thing but when you are spending the amount of money these folks charge then have the service to back it up. Again average dishes are between $40 and $60 each. Appetizers are $20 each and mediocre wine is $25 each glass. Again food was good but much better value elsewhere.

Pretty good American Chinese food in an opulent setting. Soup dumplings are ok but way over priced. Try somewhere like Wanna Bao for more authentic XLB at 1/4 the price. Brisket egg rolls are tasty.

Want to start off w/the food which was amazing. Very flavorful and delicious. Service was very mid. Maybe because it was Valentines Day it led them to be backed up on orders. Having a 9:15 reservation and getting seated around 9:30 isn't bad. But from 9:30 to about 10:30 is when we got our first order of appetizers. We didn't get our entrees until about 11:15. Besides the kitchen being backed up the experience was pretty good. The ambiance and atmosphere is intimate and personal. Our section felt like a “speed dating” type of vibe. Four tables = four couples and you can't really be yourself w/ppl you don't know being literally right next to you. Makes the dinner experience kinda of weird but overall a good experience at Benny Chows. Would go again!!!
