Always a good place to go to for food. They are remodeling when we last went so the inside eating area is smaller but the food is still good.
Reliably good California-style Mexican food. Went here for lunch for the first time in several years, and the shrimp tacos were good as ever. Love the pickled carrots and the patio seating.
My take-out order, which is a very simple order of two tacos, was totally messed up. Instead of two tacos, I received three. instead of getting the original fish that I asked for I got the grilled fish. I waited so long in line to pick up my order, the person ahead of me had a voluminous order and chatted up the staff forever,, while i waited for my order that was ready behind the counter the whole time... the staff did refund half my purchase price for the inconvenience.
The Acoustics in this place is the worst I've ever experienced. We were in the private area with a speaker for our club and I could not hear one word he said.
This place seemed a little pricy for us. Was not a fan of the chicken tamales. There chili sauce was not what I was expecting. Did not like it.
Great drinks, and best Tex mex around! The people are very friendly and interactive, making you feel welcome!
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I cannot express enough how wonderful the service and food were! My son graduated from college and he mentioned this location. The employees were so welcoming and helped put tables together. They allowed us to bring in cupcakes and decorate the tables. An afternoon of love and a few drinks...it was PERFECT! ?
This is a go-to place for low key Tex-Mex and the heights. My wife and friends were huge fans of the mango swirl margarita. The shrimp tacos are as good as they've ever been.
Ordered 2-pancake, 2-egg,3-sausage links breakfast. Very good. Came with chips and salsa. Happy this location is still open.
Food was OK. The tamales and roasted corn were passable, but other items were pretty bland. The biggest issue is price. While the price isn't too far off the mark compared to similar style restaurants, the amenities (or lack there of) just can't get me there. There are no refills on drinks, you pay full price each time. The chips are free, but the salsa is .75 cents per person per "bowl". You don't even get to sit down and enjoy the company of friends because after receiving your menus, you have to get up and order your food at the bar/counter like you're at a fast joint. It's basically Torchys or Velvet Taco style service at twice the price. If friends wanted to meet up here for a quick bite before heading to a show, I wouldn't refuse to go. But, I also wouldn't suggest Berryhill if I was asked.

No matter how tasty food is it cannot trump rotten customer service and an incorrect order.I ordered the beef fajitas which the long it long black haired cashier punched into the register. I asked that they be cooked medium rare. To which she responded what kind of tortillas do you want? I restated that I wanted them cooked medium rare to which she again asked me what kind of tortillas I wanted. I said so am I to assume that all of your fajitas are always cooked medium rare that's the reason you don't have to punch it in or notify the kitchen staff? She replied yes. What kind of tortillas do you want.I'm sure you can assume by now that they came out burnt to a crisp. So while my family was eating I was waiting for my fajitas to be replaced and cooked the way I asked to have them cooked to begin with, thrice. The manager picked them up and then returned several minutes later which was far too long for fajitas medium rare to be cooking. They were not burnt to a crisp, but there was absolutely No pink inside. Oh yeah, I specifically said that I want them to be pink. It was a very, very disappointing experience we drove over 30 miles to receive. We have frequented Berryhill for many years and this is the 1st time I was treated this way and was so disappointed when I left.
First time being there. Misguided by a no "order here" sign. Poor cashier was alone for an hour (during the time I was there) having to take orders over the phone and juggling customers and prepping alcohol drinks. The mix fajita plate could be better I didn't smell no seasoning and was bland when the plate arrived. By not having table service, you have to get up to get water/refill your drink and stand in line. Staff was courteous and place is clean.
Ordered through Uber eats for pickup on a slow Monday evening. The app said it would be ready in 10 mins so we gave it 12. Went in to pick it up and the person at the counter said it wasn’t ready yet, after 15 mins of just sitting there in an empty restaurant a woman came over to ask if I needed anything and I said I was waiting for a pickup order. She asked what name and I again told her and she said ‘oh it’s right here’, it was sitting there the whole time getting cold and soggy in the bag. No apology or anything just ‘here’, used to love this place
Love the fajita tacos most of the time. Sometimes it's hit or miss but usually they're very good! Had lunch there today and forgot to ask for flour tortillas. Corn is good but to me flour is better. Staff is very nice and courteous.
Dude this place is absolute trash, so far as grubhub- none of the food was worth paying for, taste is no good, cheap ingredients, just garbage for takeout, entire menu, all the way around. I don’t leave reviews, ever- but this was so bad, I gotta warn others. Total garbage. Don’t waste your money. They can’t even make nachos- all sh*t, entire order. 84$ worth. Absolute garbage. Tastes like nothing. Trash.
