Reliably good California-style Mexican food. Went here for lunch for the first time in several years, and the shrimp tacos were good as ever. Love the pickled carrots and the patio seating.
BEST EXPERIENCE EVER! I cannot express enough how wonderful the service and food were! My son graduated from college and he mentioned this location. The employees were so welcoming and helped put tables together. They allowed us to bring in cupcakes and decorate the tables. An afternoon of love and a few drinks...it was PERFECT! ?
Food was OK. The tamales and roasted corn were passable, but other items were pretty bland. The biggest issue is price. While the price isn't too far off the mark compared to similar style restaurants, the amenities (or lack there of) just can't get me there. There are no refills on drinks, you pay full price each time. The chips are free, but the salsa is .75 cents per person per "bowl". You don't even get to sit down and enjoy the company of friends...
