I will never eat from this establishment again! I ordered smothered pork chops with cabbage and green beans the meal was spoiled...it tasted sour and smelled like garbage when I warmed it up, I had to throw it away! The sad part is I ordered it through Door Dash so I could not get my money back. I would stay away from this place! If I could give 0 stars I would!

The potions for the price was not worth it at all. The packaging was so sloppy. It smells good looks good but when u see the potions it will destroy your appetite. It makes you wish you went somewhere else.

When I say the best customer service I mean great customer service and it’s hard to come by these days, trust me, the food was amazing I drove 40 minutes to bring a burger home for my spouse and it was still warm and the flavor was out of this world. The oxtails were amazing as well you all will not be disappointed.
They need to change their name to Worst Soul Food in Houston. Hell, to even call it food would be generous. I had the turkey wings which came over white rice, yams, Mac and cheese, and pinto beans. I wish I hadn't swallowed the pinto beans, it tasted like it was spoiled. The Mac and cheese is just sad shells with velveeta. The yams were okay. The turkey wing was large, tender, but lacked flavor. The rice was horrendous I don't know how you mess up white rice but they did, that was clumpy mess. Overall, do not waste your time or your money. Try Nitrams instead. Afraid I'm going to be sick now after reading bc all the reviews. I wish I did before. And everyone leaving 4 and 5 star reviews they are either bots, bought and paid for, or lack taste buds. I really can't.

This is, by far, one of THE best soul food places that Houston has to offer w/ a mash up of all of the southern comfort meals that we love - fish, barbecue, Cajun seafood & soul food meals. I’m a native Houstonian & have seen many come & go. They go because food quality & service declines. I’ve yet to receive a meal that was not on brand with this small business. I wish ‘The Best Souk Food In Town’ many blessings & prosperity in their future endeavors. Keep up the good work & delicious meals. It’s giving HOME!!! & I LOVE IT!

We ordered several different things and we were so disappointed. The Mac n Cheese was literally velveeta with season salt on it. The oxtails look like they were boiled, the fish was so salty like it they just got it from the ocean and they brought the white rice out in a country crock butter tub. All the food was extremely salty. Never again. I would not recommend this restaurant to Texas visitors or their current residents. If I could, I would give them no stars.
