The food was great, but be sure to check your bill before leaving. I've had multiple instances where I was overcharged, and when I questioned it, they claimed it was mistakenly mixed with the previous customer's bill.

We had a gathering in their private party room. It was a great atmosphere and friendly service.

There is renovation going on to make this a better dining experience, so for now, just tried to-go. Was not disappointed, I was craving filet tender meat with basmati rice, also opted to get the combo to try the chicken too. I loved the meat, and my husband got the chicken thighs and the house salad. Everything was good and we ate the leftovers the next day. Their basmatirice was cooked just right. I definitely will return. The bread wasn't my favorite, a little thin and chewy, but that was not what I was looking for, just the protein.

We ordered the mixed grill for three people plus dinner hummus, etc. The food was delicious but if I remember correctly, a few years ago they used to serve some fresh herbs and a sort of salad with their meats, which is usual in the Middle East and so, I was a bit disappointed that none was provided. It costs so little but makes a huge difference to the meal. However, I would certainly go again as the meat was really good. Good and friendly service also.

We have been regular diners at Bijan but over the last two visits , ever since the new management has taken over , the food quality and service seems to have gone down . I had two guests and it was a week night so not very busy . I had to get up and reminder the waitress to bring us water . I had asked only Ghemeh along with the Tahdiq but we were served it with Kormeh sabzi also which makes me believe the waitress was not even paying attention . Tahdiq was not even crispy . I usually order 29B but this time around it tasted so different .
She did though promptly get us the refills of tea .
Probably will consider other options in future

Good and service are great but restrooms are always dirty and can't go if I'm planning to eat there
Takes mandatory 18% tip even though we were just 2 people, but never serve you the whole time, never got my drink even refilled just showed up for the check

Food is delicious but the service is very bad. They don’t take care of the customers. If you ask for anything you are really lucky if they bring it to you on time. I used to go there frequently but not anymore. It’s sad because their food is really awesome.
Nice food

Persian food is a welcome change of pace, and I will often seek it out when my carnivorous side needs to be satisfied. A notable choice for Persian food in the Houston area is Bijan Persian Grill.
Bijan Persian Grill serves hot and cold appetizers, assorted meats, seafood, and even some vegetarian options. I recommend starting off with an appetizer of your liking. I tend to go for hummus, but there are several noteworthy appetizers from which to choose. The food is prepared just right and the presentation adds to its appeal.
With the meat, you can select among beef, chicken, and lamb options. I recommend choosing something like the Mix Koobidch or the Mix Chenjeh Soultani so that you can try multiple meats in a single meal. Another good option is to have your dining mate choose something different from you and then share items with each other. With so many tasty meats, you don’t want to miss out. The assorted rice options are good as well.
The atmosphere at Bijan Persian Grill is generally quiet and I like the artwork on the walls and on display, as it helps place you in a Middle Eastern frame of mind. There is a large parking lot so you shouldn’t have any problem finding a place to park, which is a plus in a city like Houston. One issue I have with this restaurant is the limited beverage selection. They serve soft drinks and tea and you might find one other specialty drink, but that is it. A few more drink options would help round out the dining experience.
Persian food is one of the first types of food I think about when I’m in the mood for meat. Bijan Persian Grill offers plenty of meat options, and even vegetarian choices if meat isn’t your thing. It’s a good place for Persian food overall and a restaurant I recommend.

Couldn’t be any worse, as a persian all the food we ordered could be for 3 4 days ago , gheyme and eggplant were off and tasted like it’s been outside the fridge for days. It used to be good in the past and i am a regular customer however not any more
