I am a hotel guest and didn't want to drive anywhere for dinner. I decided to give Birdies another try. (3rd time visiting) I ordered a smash burger without the egg or bacon. It was cooked perfect!!! Burger and fries was hot. Before I knew it, I ate the whole thing!! Ok Birdie, you have redeemed yourself from my 2 previous visits. My tab was only $19 and I left a $20 tip... it was THAT GOOD!!! Enjoyed eating at this hotel cafe once for breakfast and twice for lunch during my two day stay. The service was great; with friendly, attentive servers. Breakfast menu has typical offerings. It was good, but lunch is where they shine. They have some great options on the menu. The brisket bao buns were delicious, and the burger was AMAZING. My dining companions also enjoyed the achiote chicken tacos and grilled shrimp Mac & cheese. Definitely recommend.

Pretty good for a hotel restaurant ! I’m not a huge salad lover but my salad was quite flavorful! Delicious espresso martini too . Fries were crisp!!

We went to Birdie's on Thanksgiving and sat in Jennifer's section. She was outstanding. We went back to Birdie's at Christmas and asked to be seated in Jennifer's section. She was terrific!! Very attentive, helpful and full of Christmas cheer. She put our experience over the top. Thank you again Jennifer. We appreciate you!!

We had reservations for 2:00 and were not seated until 2:35. The prime rib was just ok, the shrimp and oysters were tasteless, and breads were cold and stale. The whole experience was lackluster and incredibly overpriced for the value ($79 per person). No drinks except water and tea were included. Two bloody Mary's and a glass of wine were $58. Will not be going back. There are too many other really good restaurants in Houston.

We went to the bar first....then dinner.....all in the same space! Our server was Sierra....and she did an outstanding job job in both areas! We were there almost 3 hours.....bar with appetizers....then on in to the dining area.... She had great suggestions for us....and seated us in a quiet area....away from loud children! Our RedFish entree was excellent...... it was our 52nd anniversary and she comped our yummy Pecan Pie! Great evening!

We had a wonderful breakfast for 8-10 people this morning. Everything was WONDERFUL but there was an event of some sort for a wedding (being held at the hotel,) right in the lobby outside Birdie's and there were drums and gongs going off, so it was a bit hard to hear one another! The food and buffet were amazing and the service was great!
