My wife and I dined at BJ's in Sugar Land last night and sat at the bar. Halfway through our dining experience a woman sat down next to us and seemed to be either drunk or high and wanted to constantly interrupt us and talk to us. After a few times of this happening, I excused myself and went to find the manager. I explained the situation to the manager (whose name is J.J.) and he apologized and explained that she is a regular with some sort of medical/nerve condition. Of course, I then felt terrible but nonetheless, J.J. came over and struck up a conversation with her so that my wife and I could finish our dinner uninterrupted. Once we were done, we engaged in conversation with her and it was quite pleasant. I have been in the restaurant industry since 1985 and I had to let J.J. know, on the way out, what an amazing job he was doing and how well he handled that situation. Very professional, very astute. BJ's corporate, you have an amazing manager at the Sugar Land location in J.J.. We will continue to patronize your establishment. God bless!

This was my second visit to BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, and I left even more impressed than the first time. I came for a weekday dinner with clients, and it couldn’t have gone better. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming—perfect for a casual business meeting or an unhurried meal. My ribeye steak was just PERFECT!!! Perfectly cooked to order, (medium rare) it was tender, flavorful, and far exceeded expectations. The garlic butter served with it was absolutely incredible—rich, savory, and the ideal complement to the steak. I’ve dined at Texas Roadhouse and other dedicated steakhouses, but the quality and taste of this ribeye easily beat anything I’ve had there. Service was a bit on the slower side, but still attentive and professional. Given the wide variety of choices ( a lot of fabulous choices!) on the menu, and how consistently good the food has been, I can confidently say that BJ’s has become one of my favorite go-to spots.

The customer service is absolutely amazing, and they took care of customer’s specific needs amazingly without any hassle. The pizookie was phenomenal, as the cookie was warm and the ice cream paired well with it.

We were a group of 15, our experience at your restaurant was extremely disappointing. The service was terrible—slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. When we brought our concerns to the manager, Josh, instead of addressing the issue, they dismissed us and made the situation even worse by not listening. We expected better and hope you take customer feedback seriously.

An unfortunate experience on Valentines day. My wife and I ordered the Prime rib, side salads, soup and sides. Everything showed up at the same time. The prime rib and sides got cold and the prime rib was super salty. The cinnamon roll pozookie was practically raw. The manager did comp the appetizer, but it'll be a long while before I drop 125.00 at BJs again.

Very disappointed with our experience this evening. Arrived at 5:45 with no wait for a table. I think our waitress, Sharon, was possibly new. She was very slow on her tablet entering our orders. The food tonight was average: the caesar salads were soaked from too much dressing and we left with the bowls only half eaten. Our waitress never reappeared after the food was delivered to ask about our meals, and we encountered another long delay waiting for her to bring dessert and the check. My wife got up to look for her and found two waitresses in another room on their phones who offered no help. We brought out of town company here for what we thought would be a good dining experience, and it was anything but that.

I’m so disappointed in my visit. I used to love going here. Went with my husband and son and from the start we were offered a 20-25 minute wait, I said it was okay. I was craving bj’s and decided to wait it out, mind you when I was told about the wait time I looked up at the lobby and there was plenty of empty tables so I was confused as to why the wait would’ve been that long but I shrugged it off, maybe it could’ve been something going on in the back (bad idea, should’ve been my sign to leave). Mind you ,we didn’t get no smile, no hello from the hostess but it’s fine I let it go maybe she was having a bad day. Once we were seated the table was disgusting it’s like it was cleared off but not wiped down, I have no idea what was on our table but I said whatever, grabbed a wipe from my purse and cleaned it myself. There we waited atleast 20m before we even got GREETED by our server, yes greeted, no “may I get you something to drink” nothing. After a few more minutes of waiting the hostess noticed my family and I still hadn’t gotten our drinks yet so she finally stepped up to help our server to get our order of drinks but it was already too late to help and it just so happened the server noticed she was trying to help and took over , got our drink order, came back with one drink because he forgot (it happens) and gave my 2 year old toddler his drink without a lid. It was just humorous for how many red flags happened this night, we weren’t offered plates with our appetizers or pizza, barely checked on by our server, the manager seemed to be having an issue when I called him over but called my server to talk to us when I called HIM(manager). The pizza was cold , we got the wrong drinks like it was crazy how bad the service was from the start to end. At the end of everything they gave me a “discount” which was appreciated but in my opinion I deserved a bigger discount, they gave me a military discount to apologize for the drink confusion but I’m already a service member who served in the military who was entitled to the discount in the first place , once again I just shrugged it off because I was ready to leave at this point. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, I usually post good reviews, I tip good even when I don’t receive the best service because I understand people are just trying to make a living, but this experience was just crazy to me. I won’t be coming to this location again. It’s saddens me to write this review and I hope the employees take note and learn so they could get the tip amounts they deserve
