I’ve been to this bar three times now. Everyone who works at the bar is fantastic. Excellent service every time. The drinks are great and they have an extensive selection of whiskey. I also had the steak sandwich with fries and it was delicious.

Black Gold Bar at the Hyatt Regency West Houston has a fun, moody speakeasy vibe—intimate and stylish, though on the smaller side. I ordered a burger to-go, and it was cooked well with great flavor, but unfortunately, no sauce was included—bummer! I opted for a side salad instead of fries, which was just okay. Overall, a cool spot for a drink or a bite, but attention to small details could elevate the experience.

Nice place & service, but do ask for pricing before you order a drink. They are extremely (shockingly) pricey. 2 drinks each for a party of 3 (plus a single bottle beer for a 4th person) left us with a $150 bar bill (before tip). Ridiculous.

Noor and Frank are the absolute best! Drinks were poured before I even asked for them, they just knew. Spot on recommendations for food and dessert. Superior customer service. I frequent a lot of hotel dining establishments and their customer service, efficiency, and knowledge are WAY above standard. Cannot recommend them enough!

This bar is back! Under a different name but it's the same amazing food and exquisite drinks. I had the Oak Smoked Chicken with green fried tomatoes. I am not much of a chicken lover but this chicken was delicious! And the fried green tomatoes were crispy and delicious! Christen the bartender prepared some delicious drinks for us. Whether you are celebrating something or you just want something special, I recommend the Black Gold Bar.

We stay at the Omni quite a bit. First time checkIng the bar out. We’ve been missing out. Really nice atmosphere. The food we had was great. Wide variety spirits, beers, and wines. The bar tender Chris was awesome. Made the best Mojitos I’ve ever had. I recommend checking it out.
