Best bartenders & live music always draws a great crowd! 🤘🏼
Dope spot, very nice bar themed for heavier fans looking for like minded patrons!

Good place to see local and touring bands. Drinks are reasonably-priced.

The coolest dive in Houston. Super dope Metal and Punk bands play here and there's a wonderful art exhibit on the walls of the bathroom stalls. Never disappoints
Great bar for rock/metal fans
Plus bar staff are some of the nicest people you'll meet

While my recent experience at the event may not have met my expectations, I believe it's important to offer a balanced review. Despite my personal feelings, I decided not to give a one-star rating. It's important for me to provide honest feedback and recommendations. It's worth noting that your experience at this venue greatly depends on your expectations. Many attendees at the event seemed to thoroughly enjoy the show, so perhaps you might too. The energy of the crowd was unmatched.
I had purchased a VIP burlesque show ticket through Eventbrite, and I had high expectations as someone who frequents similar events. Unfortunately, I didn't feel at ease as I walked around the city block and venue dressed up. It was extremely difficult to take in the strong urine smells and lack of cleanliness of the men’s restroom.
I acknowledge that this was partly due to my oversight in researching the venue beforehand. Upon arrival, I wasn't greeted or guided to my seat, which was unexpected for a VIP ticket holder. It's possible that my late arrival may have contributed to this, but I was hoping for the same level of service that I've experienced at other VIP events.
Additionally, there were no servers available to take drink orders, and I was asked to vacate my seat and relocate, despite having paid for a VIP experience. To clarify, I wasn't greeted upon entry, and no one offered to take my drink order. Instead, I was only approached to vacate my seat, which was quite disappointing.
The VIP ticket purchase didn't mention anything about being seated with a group, and when I raised these concerns with a reluctant server, I was able to speak with the show's co-producer. I explained that the ticket's description was somewhat misleading, as it didn't stipulate the seating arrangements or the possibility of being asked to move from my seat. Nevertheless, it seemed that the co-producer was more defensive than understanding of my situation as a VIP ticket holder. Overall, I left the event feeling as though I didn't belong and that my presence was not welcomed.

Play shows there often. Great staff, venue and sound.
Very dark atmosphere as the name would imply. Enter bar thru the back only. On site parking is very limited. Drinks are cheap and beer is reasonably priced. We’ve been here twice for Burlesque show which they have every other month. Chill vibe. We’ve enjoyed ourselves. No food served here or snack that I could tell. They have a juke box and pool tables for when a show is not happening.

A dive literally at the end of the 'train tracks'. You are very close to the musicians and can be ear splitting if band is loud.Anyway live music.
