Love their Daily Black coffee, always super rich without milk and sugar. Had their bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich and loved the addition of the avocado! Service was awesome! They’re so nice and they took my empty place freeing up table space before I thought of getting up which was awesome! Look forward to every visit!Parking: Parking is in the back but luckily not packed

Blacksmith has been my go-to coffee shop since high school (which was over 10 years ago now!)The coffee is always so good, and the folks who work here are very sweetOne thing I will note for new folks to the area is that this area and parking lot does experience break in's quite frequently; this is not the responsibility of Blacksmith at all but just be sure not to leave anything in your car when you park. They have a small lot which is not generally full, and a small space. This is a great spot to visit with a friend, or to stop by for a great coffee on the go:)Parking: They have a small lot which is not generally full, and a small space

I had a blacksmith bowl with an egg. It looked interesting and colourful. The egg was the the only tasty element in the bowl for me. There was no depth of flavour in the dish. Lots of things in the bowl but they don't really go together unfortunately. Maybe this is what it's supposed to be like but it doesn't work for me. If you are a real foodie - this is definitely not a place to be. I won't go there again.

Popular Montrose coffee shop with tasty food offeringsI tried their Dark Forrest drink, which was tasty but slightly pricy at $7 ($8.58 with tax/tip). Their Vietnamese Steak and Eggs are great but they didn’t have any when I visited. Staff are friendly.Interior vibe isn’t too loud so a solid place to study. While there are large windows the interior can be on the dark side and I didn’t notice many (if any) wall outlets.

I find myself always wanting to come back here. It’s got such a laid back vibe and the food is so good! My go-to are the dos tacos and biscuit with strawberry jam and crème fraise. They are always freshly and consistently made!

The dark forest is amazing! My fav drink of all the coffee shops around the area. Petition to keep it as a permanent drink not just a seasonal drink please

This is truly my favorite coffee shop in Houston. The quality of their coffee is unmatched and the best I’ve ever had. I also LOVE the scratch made biscuits and the rest of their pastry items. The baristas here are so kind and make you feel like at home. Can’t say enough good things about Blacksmith!!

We had the best cup of coffee here while visiting HTX. The staff was so nice too! I also got a biscuit and butter&jam. They were warm and buttery! We bought a bag of coffee beans called "Contemporary" and it was amazing. Highly recommended!

I checked out this local coffee shop for a bite of brunch. I did the dos tacos, and house iced tea. They were fabulous, filling, and I loved the atmosphere. I was feeling a bit down, and the friendly staff and warm/welcoming environment perked me right up.
