Blakes catered for my company Burns McDonnell not to long ago. the food was great as always and I actually spoke to the top dog myself. I have been a customer for quite some time and your burgers are the best along with other specialties. I am saddened at the idea that you may be hanging it up soon but understand. I wish you the best and plan on visiting soon while I have a chance. wonderful owner and an H-Town legend.

When I’m always in town I have to stop by this place. Great customer service food is great. The beverage unsweet tea and lemonade is off the charts. Recommend anyone to stop by and try.

Ordered the 3 meats dinner had ribs, brisket, sausage links then 2 sides mac n cheese and pork and beans. The whole meal was great, probably wouldn't get the links again just wasn't my type of flavor. Everyone is very kind and funny. Definitely give this spot a try if you want some good BBQ.

Have been here for a burger in the past and it was decent. Decided to try the BBQ this time. Ordered a three meat plate with chicken, brisket and ribs. The ribs were good, everything else was just ok and tasted a bit old. My wife ordered the brisket sandwich and only ate half as she did not like it at all. For a $40+dollar lunch, it was just not worth it. Also, the sweet tea had a strange taste to it. I remember noting this on the 1st visit as well. Probably going to be the last visit unfortunately.

omg !! AMAZING. everything was more than delicious. we ordered cheeseburgers, fries, & their gumbo. 11/10 recommended! great service , the guy was very friendly and sweet! will be back ! also, try their lemonade & sweet tea!

Favorite BBQ joint in Houston besides my dad's back yard. Always greeted with a smile and good attitude, and the food is on point. I've recently been going for the gumbo and boudain plus whatever meat I'm in the mood for. Never been disappointed in the eats or the service, not to mention there's not usually a wait.

Great food and amazing southern hospitality. Needed a weekend fix of comfort food and happy to have stumbled on this place. The gentleman at the window was friendly and courteous… he made me feel like a long time customer even though it was my first visit. I’ll definitely go again when I need some good food! Highly recommended!

This is the best burger we've had in Houston. That's it. Delicious and served quickly. Also, we got some chocolate vanilla cake, the best if you like homemade cakes. New favorite place!

Blake's has 1 of if not THE BEST hamburgers here in Houston. Been a customer for years, the great service & awesome food keeps me coming back. I truly appreciate this spot. Keep up the good job♡

Let’s gooo!! Great hole in the wall restaurant if you want REAL GREAT FOOD.Recommend the dirty rice & Mac and cheese it was sooo good. Hamburger and fries seasoned greatly. Definitely will be returning and inviting others to this restaurant

I have driven by this place for years!!! I'm mad I hadn't stopped in sooner.After reading they had been voted best burger, I finally gave it a try. I was disappointed. Definitely in my top 3!!! The meat to bun ratio was spot on. The patties weren't too thick or thin. Good flat top searing. I was impressed. The Mac n cheese and cakes were delicious too.I'll definitely be back to give the BBQ a try.!!

I told them it was my 1st time there thinking that they would give me their best in hopes of acquiring a return customer. What I got was a little bit of snarkiness And a very disappointing plate of brisket and sausage. Brisket was dry and rubbery did not have the appearance of hot and Fresh, Meat looks dark, Not pink They might be cutting corners either over cooking, cooking improper temperature and cook times per size of Brisket or they're cheating and using a lot of liquid smoke which would explain the indigestion. not sure what is in sausage but It also looked dried out. Perhaps They make their own links and are heavy handed with the red pepper flakes or maybe, once again, it's possibly food that's been sitting for a long time and they decided to get rid of it to a take out order.

It's hard finding a decent burger around here, but Blake's exceeded our expectations. The burgers had a great taste and the onion rings were the best we've ever had, super crunchy. Wings are good too?.

OMG, this place is an hiden gem. The best old fashioned homemade burgers in houston. It's black owned so don't waste your money somewhere else. Like whatabuger is a 3 star rating compared to Blake's. The other places are not even close. I definitely recommend you try there burgers. You will not be disappointed. Next, i will try the barbecue. I will let you guys know how the rest of the food tastes as i keep going back. ?
