The Boat at Blazin Kajun North

My wife ordered our food to go. For me I requested 2lbs of crawfish mild. The crawfish were very tiny and mushy. The seasoning was very bland for it to be mild. She also ordered the fried dinner for my mother in law, and a boil for herself. The fries tasted old overall the fried dinner was not a hit. The boil she did not enjoy bland some of the food was mushy. Not a good first impression.

“Trash, Trash, Trash” is honestly an understatement. The hookah was terrible — I asked to remove it and there are no refunds because you have to pay upfront with a 20% gratuity already included. Prices are extremely high. They offered to replace the hookah with food, so we ordered wings, greens, mac & cheese, and cornbread… then came back saying they were out of sides.

The turkey neck alone was $17.99 — for ONE piece. We also had the oxtail baked potato which was small and wings — both meats tasted frost-bitten. The presentation looks good in pictures, but the food had absolutely no flavor.

You be wanting to support your own but this is why they close down. If you’re anything like me and you value your money, find somewhere else.

The restaurant was extremely cold with no heat, which made it very uncomfortable to sit and enjoy a meal! On top of that, the crawfish tasted like a bad batch and were disappointing not to mention how SMALL they were. Crawfish might be fine on a hot summer day, but serving them in January—especially in an unheated dining room—was not enjoyable at all.

The best part about this place is the aesthetic. Super cute for pics and that’s it. THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!! I’ve been here multiple times to try and see if maybe I just chose the wrong night but no. The service is bottom of the line. You wait FOREVER to get your food and it’s always something that needs to be fixed. During the freeze they offered free crawfish with a donation but that was bs. You're get told you'll get 3lbs for $5 but they only give you 1lb in actuality. I waited for nearly 2 hours for the crawfish to watch as many people after me were served. I finally made my way to the kitchen to check my order and was advised there was no more crawfish. Completely unprofessional, completely unorganized & overall poor service. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend.

My waitress Finesse was one of the best waitress I've had. She was very helpful very informative joked around with us which made it better. At the end i had to give her a hug because she felt like family. Keep up the great work

I love Cajun food if you have never tried it you should visit this place you will love it without a doubt... Secuoia is very friendly the only bad thing is the stupid customers who come to leave their bad vibe and their frustration to this place inventing anything to discredit but you have to try don't believe what others say

Me an my homegirl came yesterday we sat at the bar at first, the bartender gave us some water while we looked over the menu. Then we decided to move to a table after a short time the bartender asked if we have been served we said no. She said one moment finished making some drinks an came over to the table. Which was different because alot of bartenders dont leave from behind the bar. I forgot her name but she had locs. We asked whats the best drink an she told us the Honey Hennessey is her favorite (an she sis did not disappoint it was really good). I only wanted 2 lbs of crawfish with additional add on but she broke it down by the time I wld of did all that it would of only made sense to get the special they had. We had a good time it was kinda busy the music was jamming an the food was amazing 10/10 will definitely be back soon.

Faness was an excellent waiter at Blazin’ Kajun. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Her great attitude really stood out. I would definitely recommend her!
