Walking in Victory

This place is superbly unique from the ordering at the Kiosk to the food from each restaurant. I will be back for more of Sonia’s Kreyol and Dupsy’s.

What a great idea for food services. I like that it's like an Uber eats physical location, with many restaurants in one location. Almost like a mall eatery, but you don't get to see your food being prepared. You order on the screen, moments later you get a QR code on your phone. The code opens one of the lockers, and voila! Your food is in there. I like it.

I can't believe I just spent $15 for a waffle and two chickens no longer than my ring finger. What makes matters worse I'm on my lunch break and I didn't get syrup and or nothing to eat with. Guess I'll use my hands and I'll use my shirt to wipe my hands off once I'm finished since my break will be over by the time I return smh

Placed an order for Nyamming’s on a Sunday evening. It’s located inside of the Blodget Food Hall - save your time and just drive over to the actual restaurant. We’ve driven by this food hall several times in the past and will continue to do so in the future. Never again will I place an order here, which is unfortunate because we love Nyamming’s, this location is more convenient, but the service is extremely underwhelming and is a terrible impression of the restaurant. We’ve dined at the original location and met who I believe was the owner years ago and I just can’t fathom that he would be pleased.

The front kitchen has windows where you can see them working. Not one person that I saw behind the kitchen for any of the restaurants in the food hall had on a hairnet. That is a sanitary issue. I’m curious to know how the food hall concept truly works. It looks like the restaurants are not individually staffed to cook their own food. From my own assumptions from what I saw it looks like the staff is cooking in whatever kitchen orders are coming in because they weren’t in the same kitchens the entire time.

We placed an order at 7:41pm and did not receive it until 8:38pm. Almost an entire hour. At this point, I don’t care how the food tastes. I was hungry an hour ago. I was so ready to go I didn’t even check my food, so hopefully everything is in there. EVERY restaurant that had an order had a delay or a wait time that did not change for quite some time. Eventually, my order was deleted from the screen, but was not ready. It said delayed for the longest.

The man who was going back and forth from the kitchen placing orders in the cubbies for pick up was very nice and polite; even though he said there was about 7 minutes left on the order, which turned into 15-20 minutes. He apologized for the wait when he delivered our food out. I understand the kitchen is not his fault and he does not deserve to catch the flack for it; but they either need to get a head chef to manage the kitchen or if there is one, they need to get a new one with more experience or an ability to improve the quality of work. They also need a front of the house staff member to keep the tables clean instead of slinging a rag side to side and calling it clean. So much potential here, but they’re dropping the ball big time.

A positive beside the nice employee upfront…..there was plenty of parking..should’ve been our first sign. 🫠

Please don’t eat at this place. Very depressing environment. A lot of food flavoring is used. This place is soulless and functions like a ghost kitchen for ubereats. Life is too short for this.

They take forever to get your food ready. They told me my order will be ready within 6:48-6:58 pm. Guess when it was finally ready? By 7:24pm!!!

And no apology whatsoever from them.

The food ended up being horrible too.

I do uber eats orders here but will start canceling the orders that come in for this place because these people will flat out lie to you and waste your time. I got to this place and on the board it showed as delayed. I decided to wait it out since it was to be my last customer of the night. Im sitting RIGHT here. Everyone else is canceling left and right. No one else took anything. I keep just bringing my phone back up to the tablet and it keeps telling me still processing. I decided to finally wave down someone who stepped out cleaning windows. This person got some one who didn't speak English. He translated using an app to say its just now been picked up. A bold face lie as im in here alone and have literally been watching it and the board. Instead of just being honest and saying they cant make it they lied. That order was never made and I wasted sooo much time and will not get paid for just sitting here all night.

Bldogett Hall is a great concept and an opportunity for small businesses to have low overhead.
Cons: The order station did not print a receipt and did not show which kitchens are closed or open. Another customer had waited over 45 minutes not realizing that the kitchen was closed. The lady at the front was rude and told him to cancel the order which you cannot do on the order station. Then she told him to call his credit card company and cancel. Alot of flies outside which can be managed with fly repellent products. The link that was texted after the order would not open. The food prices are pricey.
Pros: Deathwish Spicy was on time with the order and delicious.

I ordered my food at 9:30pm and was given an ETA Of 9:51pm-10:01pm. At 10:11pm i asked a team member regarding my order and he stated it would be an additional 30 minutes. I canceled my $60 order and Would definitely not be coming back again.
