I booked Bludorn for my wife’s 30th birthday through Resy. Left some notes stating as such and wanted to be discreet as she usually hates when I try to be sneaky and alert the waitstaff it’s a special occasion (figured doing it via the app is better)
On arrival we weren’t seated until almost 20 minutes after our reservation time. Frustrating, but we saw they were doing their best and running behind - so we were patient.
Even with the initial delay the service felt impersonal, not something that felt up to par with the level of restaurant Bludown strives to be. We are fortunate to be able to dine in establishments like this - but we understand that restaurants like bludorn are meant to be places to celebrate special occasions, milestones, etc. I just didn’t feel like the service reflected this.
To make things worse my notes regarding the birthday were missed - or as it was explained to me due to a new reservation system not transferred over. Regardless, I wanted the dinner to be for a special occasion (a 30th birthday) and we didn’t get this experience at all. By the time I let the host know we had already wrapped up and just wanted to go home.
I do want to add the food was excellent and we really enjoyed our meal. However, the service and overall experience was a disappointment due to everything else I mentioned.
I would urge the staff to be more detailed oriented and personal. A lot of this could have been avoided if the host or waitstaff just asked us “are you guys celebrating anything special”, or better yet “what brings you all in today”.

Very much enjoyed my experience. My waitress was amazing. Sat out on the patio and it was much more chill than inside. The foot was top notch, the drinks were great. A decent amount of mocktail options were available that were actually fancy drinks and not just some sugary syrup. Will come back again!

We had reservations at Bludorn on New Years Eve, to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. It’s become a special tradition of ours to visit one of Bludorn’s restaurants every NYE. Our first date was at Bludorn, 1st anniversary was at Navy Blue, 2nd anniversary at Bar Bludorn, and 3rd anniversary - back to where it all started. Everything was incredible, but it wasn’t just special because it was our anniversary - it was special, by design, thanks to the thoughtful staff and intentional level of service. Right after being seated, we were greeted with a complimentary champagne toast, every employee who passed our table wished us a happy anniversary, and the dinner ended with a complimentary chocolate dessert, with “Happy Anniversary” beautifully written around the edge of the plate. Every detail had been thought out and well executed. Most of these reviews will tell you that the food here is exquisite, and trust me - it is! But it’s creating experiences like this that truly make something special. We look forward to celebrating many anniversaries here for years to come!

Celebrated 6 years and I’m elated we chose Bludorn. The dishes were delicately decorated and astounding. The staff was attentive, friendly and excited to help us celebrate our 6 year anniversary. We can’t wait to visit again!
Please tell me why, in spite of the fantastic service, friendly staff, delicious food, and extremely high staff presence in the dining room last night, the bathroom was worse than what I've encountered at gas stations? No paper towels, urine all over the seat and floor... really? Not what I was expecting from such an acclaimed (and pricy) establishment... my date and I had to dry our hands on our pants.

We had Bailey (sp?) as our server and she was very chill and accommodating while explaining the menu to us.
We had 2 appetizers (Madai & Octopus) and shared a steak then 2 desserts (Brownie sundae was awesome)
Thank you for making sure our drinks were full and our nite was fun.

Went to Bludorn for our anniversary. Have been making the circuit of Michelin restaurants. I have to say this is my favorite so far even compared to those with a star. Food was amazing. Octopus appetizer was brilliant. Nick was our waiter and provided great service. Planning to go back soon for happy hour and make Bludorn a go to spot for special occasions.
