This place is way over priced, the margaritas taste awful and the food is not worth it. I would not recommend this place at all. It's nice looking, but what matters is the food, drinks, atmosphere.

Kyrian is an AMAZING bartender. Our service was on point. I came here with my friend on her birthday and they made her feel so special. They had live music great atmosphere and the food was fantastic!!! Gotta try the cheese and bacon nachos!!!

We’re visiting from out of town and ended up eating here twice in just a few days—that alone says a lot. The food was excellent both times, and both of our servers were amazing: friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend Blue Agave if you’re in Houston.

My wife and I ate here last night. Delicious food. Wonderful atmosphere. But the service…. ABSOLUTELY Amazing! We had Jaime as our waitress and she was absolutely a breath of fresh air. Made wonderful recommendations with exceptional knowledge of the menu. (We got The salmon and the Carne Asada especial) She was very friendly and very much the reason this was a 5 star experience. I will definitely request her again every time I come. You can tell she really loves her job and loves providing the best experience possible. Probably the best waitress I’ve ever experienced in my life.

I got the cerviche. When they put the bowl in front of me, I was shocked and asked, where's the food?!?!? Expensive and ONE shrimp cut up into pieces!!! and very little fish as well. It was like 18 dollars, in a big bowl with little substance to fill that bowl. Very dissatisfied and disappointing. Blue Agave, I love y'all but YOU CAN DO BETTER! TOTAL RIP OFF! Thank goodness for chips and salsa or I would have walked out very hungry. Luna is a great waitress, so there's that. ☺️

Mexican flavours and great food selection.
Service and atmosphere: This is a big and very well decorated restaurant with many seating areas inside and outside. The restaurant offers very nice open bar area too. There is plenty of parking space outside. The service was friendly and attentive.
Food and drinks: The menu offers great selection of many traditional dishes which are a bit elevated. The ceviche was well plated and was packed with flavour and different types of seafood. Addition of avocado and grapefruit elevated the dish. Beef fajitas was cooked medium rare as requested. The meat was tender very well seasoned. Tres leches cake was very moist and not overly sweet.
Pricing: $$/$ - the prices are justified by quality of food and great atmosphere.

My daughter and I walked in and sat at the bar. The bartender approach us immediately and she asked my daughter can I help you ? How old are you ? She replied she is 25. We sat down and ordered our drinks and it took some time before we were able to place our food order. After that we were not asked once if we needed anything else. We asked for the tab and left. Good Food and good atmosphere terrible customer service.
