Blue Tile Coffee

The place is cute, coffee is mid. But what bothered me more was that when I asked for decaf, the staff member helping me told me they could do it, then I later heard her complaining about it to her coworker after she handed me my drink. Not to mention the staff was wearing sweats, which is… interesting. I’d be curious what kind of establishment sells coffee, offers decaf then complains about it, I mean shouldn’t coffee be for everyone? Anyways, looking at the reviews now, it all makes sense 🙁 hope the owner takes this as legitimate feedback to train your baristas better, and maybe enforce better dress codes.

Over priced for what it is. Spent $20 for a cold tough sandwich and subpar coffee. The staff was nice but outside of that quite mid. Wouldn’t recommend

I was in last week. The barista was nice and friendly but there was another person with her who was not friendly or welcoming at all. I used to love popping in for a coffee but things are different now. I’m not sure I’ll return. Also, there were no tacos.

Kind of disappointed when the girl with the purple hair became unfriendly when I was ordering, compared to everyone else before me and after me - she was so pleasant to them. Then, she sort of said hi, but then walked away when I was ordering then when she came back, didn’t ask me for my order, barely muttered “with whole milk?” and then didn’t thank me for my order. So, I thanked her and she gave me a super fake smile. It was very obvious that something about me bothered her so much that she could turn it off and on like that. She was back to normal towards everyone else who walked in after me. So weird. I’ll just go somewhere else.

Lots of drink options here. Good cold brew. A bit loud while we were there, I think the high concrete walls don't buffer noise. As long as you're not trying to Zoom it's not too loud for 1 on 1 conversation. Large sitting area and HEB is next door if you need groceries. (My pic shows eclair from HEB)

A very cute coffee shop! Their quiche was delicious and the portion was overly generous. I had a lovely flat white. The space is open and light, and great place for conversation.

Came here for a quick stop running some errands during a work day. Quiet enough to take calls and very clean.

I generally like coming here before I buy my groceries, but apparently if you’re friends with Eliesse the barista your order gets bumped ahead of anyone else’s. I’m not a fan of being told to wait my turn while she chit chats with her friends as they arrive so I won’t be back soon.

One of the young ladies working was delightful. The other young woman was full of angst and ennui I am shocked she got out of bed.
Coffee was okay. Nothing to write home about. I will not give them my business again. Once was plenty.

The experience is amazing and utterly chill when studying and working with a nice cup of matcha latte on the side. 🍵 The drinks are tasty and atmosphere is on top with a nice look outside giving that ultimate cafe vibe! Truly one of the best looking cafes you would totally want to visit sometime 👌🏼
