Love the vibes in this place but it gets HOT. Everyone’s packed like sardines which is fun when you’re drunk but being here sober is… not the best. The music is good but as other reviews say it gets repetitive. Lots of people in their early 20s which is nice for college students. One of my favorite bars in montrose! Also, bring cash for cover at the door!! Card line gets a bit long.
The best

Very Inclusive, energetic and free environment. Definitely a judgement free zone, come as your most authentic self! Wide variety of music, there is something for everyone!

Let’s be real — you pay to get in, just to be sweaty, elbow-to-elbow, and hear the same 5 songs looped like it’s someone’s busted Spotify Wrapped. No transitions, no DJ energy, just “Rain On Me” n some old ass song from 3 years ago and back again. Come buzzed leave early. Decent to meet up but like 15 or 20 to enter so. 😭

There are countless reviews over bad workers and violent bouncers. And much more than other clubs. Even if this place is fun, there are plenty of other clubs that are just as fun but without the added chance that your night will be completely ruined. Go somewhere else, not a place that blatantly disregards people.

I had a disappointing experience at Blur Nightclub that left me frustrated. Right from the start, the Asian woman at the front entrance set a sour tone—she never smiled and looked visibly upset, which isn’t the vibe you expect walking into a nightclub. First impressions matter, and this one was unwelcoming.
Inside, the club gets uncomfortably hot, making it hard to enjoy the night. Dancing and having fun shouldn’t feel like you’re in a sauna. Worst of all, when I asked for a cup of water to cool down, I was told they only sell bottled water. This is unacceptable and feels unsafe—free tap water should be a basic offering in a crowded, hot venue where people are drinking and dancing. Charging for water in those conditions is a cheap move and shows they care more about profit than patron safety.
The music and energy might draw a crowd, but these issues—grumpy staff, overheating, and no free water—ruined the experience for me. I won’t be back unless they make some serious changes. Do better, Blur.

Let white people drink alcohol outside the club but when I did it they literally were so rude and forced me and my whole group to leave?? So I’m very confused how I got this treatment but they didn’t I don’t know and don’t care go to numbers the club it’s way better and 18+ 5 minutes away and don’t discriminate!!

They kicked me out without any reason, they made me feel bad, I don't understand how they kick you out and don't tell you the reason. I paid my cover, had a drink, I was ordering my Uber and they kicked me out before I could take it, what a common place.
Btw it’s a boring place never want to come back jrs its better fr 🫦
security is ridiculous. so rude, big attitudes, and gets physical. my friend was looking for our other friend and they shoved her against a car when she wasn’t being loud or rude. she was just asking for help from them and they called her names and pushed her. there’s no excuse to be mean or aggressive when someone is asking for help.
Played the best music all night!!! Will be coming back!

Blur Bar is more fun on Sunday night with Latin Pop dance music. The patio was great too.
