I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent quality of food at Boba Bird. I used to enjoy visiting and often recommended it to others, but my last several experiences over the past 2–3 months have been unsatisfactory. if you’re wondering why I’ve returned so much times, while rating it a one star is because i’ve been having the hope it would go back to normal, but now that hope is gone.
The chicken I’ve been receiving tastes raw and completely unappetizing, which not only ruins my appetite but also raises concerns about food safety. On my most recent visit, I even found a strange piece in the chicken that was gooey and black in appearance, which made the meal completely inedible. In addition, the fries, which were once well-seasoned and enjoyable, now arrive bland, lacking flavor, and tasting mostly like oil. For the past 2–3 months, the food has consistently not tasted the same, and the overall quality has clearly declined.
Unfortunately, due to these ongoing issues, I have decided to stop ordering from Boba Bird. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it is taken seriously and that steps are made to restore the standard that originally made your establishment enjoyable.

came here recently with a friend, and honestly, this place is turning out really disappointing because I’ve been going here since they opened and their portions are smaller and smaller. Fries come out somewhat cold and not even seasoned! it’s actually insane that they’re just giving this out thinking that it’s okay? lt’s almost like their quality control is non-existent at this point. This place USED to be a great hangout spot when the food wasn’t bad.

I’ve been coming to this place since they opened, I was a senior in high school and graduated so I can say this place has took a turn for the worst. I’ve gotten delivery here recently a few times and none of the fries were seasoned. They can make their reels on IG about seasoning their fries all they want but half the time they really don’t and I don’t know if it’s because they change their policy or if they workers are just plain lazy. The portions in their chicken have gotten severely smaller as well, which is just disappointing how this place turned out

I swear this place has changed for the worst, I doordashed an order here recently and thier fries don’t even come with seasoning anymore, which was one the tastiest and best parts of this place, and the portion of their chicken has become significantly SMALLER. The pictures they have on doordash should be updated because they look nothing like they used to. I used to love ordering from this place, but they took a turn for the worst

Whether it’s delivery, take out, or dine there’s consistency with the chicken being juicy and seasoned well. The chicken’s smaller and less spicy than Dave’s Hot Chicken or Cane’s but still filling. I personally prefer the size too. The price is good too, cheaper than Dave’s Hot too. Beverages are good, but I wouldn’t recommend the actually boba. It’s old and kind of hard to chew through.
Fries aren’t the best either. Every time I’ve eaten there it’s just kind of soggy? There’s like barely any crunch to them.
I wouldn’t recommend it going through delivery and be sure to check your food in store if you’re doing take out. It’s a big pain and disappointment. Any time I order from them there’s something always missing, whether it’s napkins, straws for the bubble tea, or even sauces and food. They haven’t followed any notes for dietary restrictions/requests for deliveries yet for me too. (It’s literally just removing certain toppings so it would just be less work for them)

Tried Boba Bird in Pearland for the first time, and overall it was a really fun experience. I ordered the ube taro, and my sister went with the strawberry slushie boba since it was her very first time trying boba. Both drinks were colorful, refreshing, and definitely hit the spot. The ube taro was smooth and creamy without being too sweet, and the strawberry slushie had a bright, fruity taste that made it really easy to enjoy.
The restaurant itself was spotless — you can tell they take pride in keeping the place clean, which made the whole visit even more comfortable. I also thought it was super unique that they have vending machines inside; it gives the shop a fun and modern vibe you don’t see everywhere.
The only drink that missed the mark for me was the tiger milk tea boba — it looked great but just didn’t have as much flavor as I was hoping for. That small detail is why I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. Still, the friendly service, inviting atmosphere, and wide range of drinks make this a spot I’d happily come back to. I’m already looking forward to trying out more flavors on their menu!

Honestly i used to like this place, but recently i had a terrible experience. I ordered the other day through DoorDash, not only were mh tenders very small but also my fires had no seasoning, which i found to be very disappointing.
This is literally the best boba place I’ve ever been to. most drinks you’d find at other boba shops, their smoothies melt so fast, and the teas are so mid..the owner did his big one with this one too, along with his other spot Sushi Moshi, make sure to check that out as well ?? ?? it’s so good, I even had a dream about going there & guess what I did? I got it the next morning
