I love trying new things and the food was something I’ve never experienced. Like a cross between seafood gumbo and Alfredo… idk. Whatever the combo was it was good and my wife and mom both enjoyed it as well. I’m a little late with the review, but I also loved seeing the family all together and I’m glad they were able to turn Covid into something so positive! Wishing the best for this black owned business.

I was downtown and googled fried fish. I saw this place had 4.9 stars out of 5.0 stars, and decided to go check it out. Once I entered the corner store and walk toward the back, immediately felt like I had walked into my grandmother‘s house, music playing, food was cooking, and smelling so good. Customers reminded me of my aunts, sitting and talking and waiting on their food. The whole family vibe that I haven’t felt in years since my grandmother passed away in 2012. I needed that after the week I had. Then, I was introduced to the menu, and given 3 to 4 samples. I’m just gonna tell y’all go take your family. I’m gonna make this place a regular for me to visit because my soul needs it. 🥹 Thank you to the owners, who cook…that family is amazing and I pray that God bless y’all‘s business a hundredfold I absolutely loved it. ❤️🥹

The young lady in the front had a great personality and lots of energy, she is great and welcoming. Kudos to her. The location is in a gas station on the corner of Almeda and Southmore. I had been wanting to try Bo-bobs for a while, and I’m so glad I finally made my way over. I was craving some gumbo, which was fantastic. As I was waiting for my gumbo, the lovely owners gave me some samples of all of their staples. The overload was incredible and will be my next order. The chicken and broccoli over cornbread was also delicious and will be a good warm your bones kind of meal once winter rolls around. I will for sure be back.
