Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Every dish we ordered was bursting with authentic taste, from the rich curries to the soft, warm naan and perfectly cooked rice.

The service was just as impressive. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. You can tell they take pride in both their food and their hospitality.

The atmosphere was clean, comfortable, and inviting, making it a great place for both casual meals and special occasions.

This is easily one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in the United States. Highly recommend to anyone looking for amazing food and a great overall experience. I will definitely be coming back!

The pani poori was good, and the samosa chaat was okay. Unfortunately, the balushahi was stale and hard, which was disappointing—I was surprised that old inventory was served. Additionally, the lady behind the counter was rude. Overall, it was not a great experience.

We used to eat there weekly, years ago, but after becoming vegan rather than just vegetarian, it's basically impossible to tell what has cow juice in it, and perhaps unlike India, cows suffer horribly in American agriculture. So, we don't go at all. The people who work there are surly and seem kind of pissed off if you ask them which things have dairy (and they've told me stuff with paneer (cheese) didn't have diary).. so, it's too bad, because the food is good and we miss them yelling 'buffet naan!' over the loudspeaker.

I went there with my friends who were in the town for Christmas leave. We reached around 9 10 PM and ordered food. Our food was delivered around 920 PM and within 5 minutes the guy at the counter shouted and asked us to leave within 5 minutes as the store closing time is 930. They should not have taken the order if they close at 930. Everyone was surprised and shocked with that guy's behavior. Even if it was free this is no way to treat customers
I recommend no one to this place. They are just rude people with disgusting attitude. Avoid this place like plague!!

I’m about to start getting emotional writing this review because Ive been coming to Bombay Sweets for ages and it really has stayed the best Indian food I have ever had in my entire life like ever since I moved out of Houston it has been a constant struggle trying to find ANYTHING that compares and I only get to have Bombay Sweets once a year or less now. I’m not even kidding you Ive tried sooooo many other places in Houston, NYC, various other cities, and even most recently a trip to INDIA itself and NOTHING came close. I’m dead serious.

I have to talk about the two stars of the show that drive my passion for Bombay Sweets: the Saag Paneer and the Garlic Naan.

Starting with the Saag, this quite literally tastes like a dish produced on another planet. It is unbelievable and it shocks me every single time I come here and eat it. The flavor is unmatched, it is so deeply layered and you can really taste the spinach alongside the spices and chili, but there is just something extra in here that I cannot explain that pushes this into otherworldly territory. The paneer just completely melts in your mouth and I literally cannot leave the restaurant without ordering 2 days worth of it to-go. There is not a single place that has even come close to the level of flavor provided here and the fact that it has stayed consistent for so long is just really impressive.

Now the Naan here is also the best I have ever had, I mean do I need to even say anything just LOOK AT THE PHOTO. WOW. It’s huge, the outer edges are thick and fluffy, the inside is thin and crisp, and the toppings here really set this to the next level. I would say that I could come here and just order 4 naans as my meal but there’s absolutely no way I’m coming to Bombay Sweets and not ordering the Saag Paneer but yes this Naan is that good. I swear it needs to win some awards or something.

The other dishes are good too, this time we also ordered the Paneer Makhani and Baingan Bharta which both were stellar, plus some Pani Puri for the appetizer which was refreshing.

Shout out one more time for the Saag Paneer and Garlic Naan because I’m not exaggerating when I say that every other Indian restaurant I go to all I can think about is whether this will be up to par with Bombay Sweets or not.

Update: I have visited them a couple of times for dining. The food is delicious and authentic. Will definitely recommend it.

I visited Bombay Sweets to purchase some sweets. While the staff interaction could have been more attentive, I was able to sample a few options and ultimately found a delicious selection.

Great tasting Sweets and Chaats!
Bombay Sweets is hands down, the best place in Hillcroft to buy sweets, for their great selection.
Since this place is always so crowded, service can be little slow as you have to wait once you order. Their food specially chaats and Samosa are very good.
Their dine-in menu is very good but does not apply for take out. It comes with a curry, rice, roti, papad and achar. They also have bhatura, paratha and naan.
Parking is very tight as they share a tiny parking lot with Vishala Grocers, Beauty Salon and few other shops. Open daily.
