Been coming here for years always WAS great while the desi aunties were running the front. Ever since the Hispanic and younger Indian girl are running the show the service is CRAP! They don’t listen, are always in a rush, and forget most of the order. Above all when we kindly ask them where our food is they yell at us. Bring back the service or be ready to lose customers.

We love Bombay Sweets for the authentic Indian dishes. Everytime we travel through Houston, we ensure to make a pitstop and try out the Indian delicacy. Kudos to you

Disappointing Experience with Inconsistent QualityMy recent visit to this restaurant left me utterly disappointed. Despite the decent service and atmosphere, the food quality was abysmal. I ordered a variety of dishes, hoping to indulge in some authentic flavors, but to my dismay, everything tasted the same—overbearingly sweet and excessively spicy, with no discernible flavor profile. It seems like they're sacrificing quality to accommodate the high volume of customers they receive. The biggest letdown was the sweets. As a lover of Indian sweets, I was excited to try their signature offerings. However, upon taking a bite, even my child, who usually has a sweet tooth, refused to eat it. I gave it a try myself, only to find it stale and lacking in taste. It was a far cry from the quality you'd expect, even from store-bought sweets. To add insult to injury, when I attempted to return the unsatisfactory item, the lady at the store rudely refused to entertain my concerns. Instead of investigating the issue or offering a refund, she simply discarded it, treating me like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.Overall, my experience was nothing short of terrible. I regret not heeding the warnings from previous negative reviews. I sincerely hope the management takes steps to improve their quality control and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a satisfying dining experience.

Now, the reason for 4 stars is not to be able to pay by card in case your bill is less than $10.The atmosphere is just like any other Indian local eatery. The sweets are good. It's one of the few places in hillcroft, where you can find gujiya(Indian sweet). Parking is an issue here, with limited spots. The chhole bhature are not that great. They have nice samosa.Basically, it's a place for sweets.Vegetarian options: It's a vegetarian place, so no surprises there.Parking: Limited spots available to parkKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, a family place.

I bought some chum chum from this place. They were already in a plastic container and in the fridge. The chum chums were in thin extremely sweet syrup. When I had 1 of them , it was extremely sweet and almost irritated my throat. The packed chum chums cost me about $12 which I consider highway robbery.I will never buy anything from this place.

Nice Amritsari vegetarian snacks and tiffin in the city. In the neighborhood are some Indian grocers.Sporadically they give a 10% discount for cash payment.

2/18/24 update:Called in my order. Arrived to pick up and they only took down half my order.Getting pricier every time I visit. Today we spent almost $40 on items that cost 1/2 elsewhere. We will probably shop elsewhere next time.
