Oh my goodness. Where do I even begin. From the food, to the service, to the location, to the ambiance, everything was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. I am part of FRC Team 7157 and we came to Houston to compete in world championships, and after a long day of robots our team was HUNGRY. Thank GOODNESS Bonchon chicken exists just 8 minutes from the venue. I called in earlier in the day, and placed a reservation for 35 people, and when I got there tables were clean, and I was greeted with some of the kindest people I have ever met. Zully, Natalie, and JT have been the SWEETEST people I have met in Texas and I was in a venue with over 50,000 people. They accommodated to our teams needs, and made the whole ordering process so so easy. Now as for the food, the food was bombtastic and totally tubular. Our team president was ecstatic and thrilled and was first in line for seconds. Not only was the chicken crispy to the perfect amount, but the fries were crispy and delish, and the tteokbokki tasted super authentic. Even the fried rice, one of our members was caught red handed eating out of the bowl. We also had a birthday on the team and they were kind enough to not only provide us with necessary materials, but they helped us coordinate this birthday surprise. Needless to say, our team made some VERY good friends at Bonchon, and have decided to make it a tradition to come here every year we attend champs. THANK YOU BONCHON WE LOVE YOU!

Tried ordering the yum drum trio online and got the “credit card validation error” yet there was no attempt on my card. I tried two other cards and got the same error. Went in person and they don’t offer the deal, so I used the exact same card to place an order there for $10 more. Not the employees fault but they don’t care either. If the offer isn’t available, don’t display it on the website.I’ve had this food in NYC before and $20+ for wings and fries is a joke! Fingers crossed it’s actually worth it in Houston…

All right guys…another good one…Bonchon on Travis street in Houston…This is like Asian fusion cuisine….this was my first visit and I was greeted with the kindest, happiest faces ever…everyone, and I do mean everyone was so nice. The food was awesome. I had the potstickers, soy-garlic and Korean bbq and bulgogi rice…flavorful!!! Nice portion size too! The wings are double fried to perfection…and the sauce is brushed on…I can’t wait to go back…the atmosphere is so chilled. This is definitely a must try if you’re in Houston. This location is downtown but they have parking out front that’s $1.50 per hour and also free parking in the garage.

I’m very disappointed with the portion/ quality compared to the price they are charging. My boneless wings were so tiny and barely sauced please look at my pic lol it looks like McDonald’s dry chicken nuggets. I only received 10 for $15.95. Received a handful of fries for $8 lol I feel very much scammed but I live in Spring so the drive back was not worth it. Mine didn’t even come in the traditional Bonchon boxes..I don’t know what’s going on but the price is increasing and what we get in return is decreasing. I’ll probably drive further and try a different location next time. The staff is friendly though..never too many customers in there, probably due to location.

Amazing food! Came here fie my grandfather's birthday and the service was amazing. The waitress was so kind and attentive and the chicken was to die for. I reccomend the wings and drums and the coleslaw. Will definitely come back again!

Disappointed in the Bulgogi fries because there was hardly any Bulgogi at all. It was like 6 little pieces other places normally have them all over the fries. It was our first time here, what a shame!
The sauce on the drumsticks is their spicy Korean sauce and it was pretty spicy. The wings were sauced with their Korean bbq, which was the most delicious. The Korean donut was good, it was churro flavored. It's just bread with cinnamon on it.

I would recommend this place to people who want to try something different Good experience! in there crunchy chicken they have flavors to choose from... im talking to my "Out of Town Folks " who are Interested in trying new culture food!! This is the place to visit!!
