Boomtown use to be my go to coffee spot in the Heights when I was living there from 2015-2018. Could always stop by and get a great. My most recent experience I found the coffee not great. I ordered a flat white and when I got it I could tell the milk pour wasn’t up to the top and they over steamed the milk causing it to be foamy and resembling something you would get from Starbucks not what I was use to from Boomtown.

They automatically upsize your drink unless you specifically say you want a small. Upsize = higher charge. This is not okay. Drip also tastes watered down.

I went for the Ice Capp (a cappucino shaken with ice) which was really good and I’d get it again. However, their butter croissant was really bad. It tasted like a bun and was not flakey at all - too pricey for what it was sadly.
