One of my longtime favorites in Houston. For a great breakfast, it is hard to beat Brasil. Their menu is short, but oh-so-good. A small-ish menu allows them to focus on a few things & excel at all of them. In more than 20 years, I've never once had a bad experience with either food or service. And if you're not in the mood for a full meal, their pastries are very much worth a quick stop.

The most amazing service, coffee, almond croissants, tacos, pet friendly, and beautiful place to just hang out for no reason, or all the reasons above. My Saturday morning routine after a walk by the Menil, Cafe Brasil.

Good coffee, but no WiFi on the weekends
So we are very happy to visit Brasil! Tha guys which attended us were very kindly and respectful, also with a higher level of deal with people, it was another thing which impressed us, when they served the coffee it was on cups and we didnât have to ask for it, because the most of coffee shop we visited in Houston, we have to ask to be serve on cups and in ours culture it is a very important way to do it, there are 3 very important things to do when you serve a coffee, first a cups, second a small dish and therd a small spoon and the coffee have to be hottttt! The food was delicious and very good served too, thank you guys for given us a special evening!

Was looking for a cafe/coffee shop to read for a little and heard great things about this place. I got there at 1030 and ordered French toast and a chai latte and started reading. At 1130, someone came up to me and basically told me theyâre going to be getting busy soon for lunch so they would came back around in a little to let me know. Super tacky. I get it if I had been there for 3 hours but I was literally there for one hour. I went to leave this review and saw a lot of ppl had this same experience. Good food and drinks, I wouldnât say this is a great place to read though unless youâre continuously ordering from the menu the entire youâre there

My absolute favorite Chai Latte in town. You place your order at the front bar area, they'll provide you a number, then choose a seat. They have a front patio area (my preferred space) as well as a back, larger patio. Easy, quick, and vibey.

Quiet place to read, work, or chill. You can order at the counter and then find a table indoors or outdoors. And they are dog friendly!! đ

Back patio is a gem
$20 burger with sweet potato fries. Fries were really good but the burger wasnât worth the price. Iced London fog was delish and iced maple latte was alsooo very delish. Oatmeal butterscotch cookie and chocolate chip cookie were pretty solid and also pretty big. Would definitely come back.

Cute place but the parking was a mess.
We've been coming here for years. A favorite casual spot when we come into the city. We enjoy the food and drinks on the varied menu. It has a neat, cool funky atmosphere that can be loud at times and quiet other times. They have an outdoor patio and live music.

Cocktails were amazing! I used to love to go here for the coffee shop atmosphere but now it's fun as a bar as well.
