Great spot for working, chilling, date night, or friends groups! Full service bar. Events are happening throughout the week. And monthly specials. The food and service were AWESOME! Me and my date for 2 dishes and split it and both the spaghetti bolognese and blackened salmon was so heart and stomach filling. (Sorry about the photos. The food is so good I forgot to take earlier pics) . The down side; no parking lot. Street parking available. I WILL DEFINITELY BE RETURNING!!!

Really great Vietnamese coffee and vegetarian tacos. I had the morning bowl and it was also delicious. The crispy rice was so good and even though it wasn't very filling it was very healthy the vegetarian tacos specifically the mushroom one was very hearty and with Vietnamese coffee, it was filling enough for a light breakfast, I love that you can order at the front desk before you sit down so that you can just come in. Have a quick breakfast with your friends and then leave whenever you are ready. Good service good vibes good price.

The breakfast pizza was the BEST.. unforunately they no longer make it. The burger is paradise is small and no fries for $17.. not a very good burger. I didn't care for the chilaquiles either. Great price on carafes of mimosas

Im still not understanding why wifi only last for a hour no one is even here. Now I see why. Barely any outlets. Food and drinks are over priced af. Fries and a drink was dang near $20. Never coming back. Used to be a popular place and is now dead.

A Hidden Gem in Montrose: Brasil Coffee House. Tucked away in Montrose lies Brasil Coffee House, a true hidden gem that promises an unforgettable experience. Despite residing in Houston for many years, discovering this quaint establishment was a revelation, thanks to a friend's recommendation. And what a treat it turned out to be!The ambiance at Brasil Coffee House is simply enchanting, with its expansive outdoor patio offering three spacious areas to enjoy your meal. Whether you're basking in the sunlight or seeking shade under the canopy, each corner exudes a welcoming charm that beckons patrons to unwind and savor the moment. But it's not just the ambiance that captivates; the coffee served here is truly exceptional. From the rich intensity of each sip to the meticulously crafted foam art, every cup is a delight to the senses. The staff, ever patient and accommodating, went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience, even offering creative alternatives when my initial choice wasn't available.Beyond coffee, Brasil Coffee House also offers a selection of refreshing beverages, each crafted with precision and care. My friend's soft drink was a perfect balance of sweetness, highlighting the attention to detail that defines this establishment. As I soaked in the inviting decor and admired the captivating artwork adorning the walls, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for stumbling upon such a gem. Whether it's for breakfast, lunch, or simply a leisurely coffee break.Brasil Coffee House comes highly recommended. Its combination of welcoming ambiance, exceptional beverages, and friendly service makes it a destination worth returning to time and time again. Don't miss the opportunity to discover this hidden oasis in the heart of Montrose.

The food is abysmal. Overpriced for very basic food with not a lot of selection. Every time I've eaten here, I've left sorely disappointed by the quality of the food. The $17 burger tastes like a Mcdouble, the pozole verde soup was way too salty and the empanadas are nothing to write home about. You can find similar tasting empanadas at gas stations. Also, wifi access is limited. You only get an hour of wifi during the weekdays per order and no wifi on the weekends. The owner seems to not want people to hog up the tables for hours which is bonkers because every time I've walked in here, 90% of the seats are empty. If you're operating your business as a "cafe" and serving specialty coffees, what's the big deal with letting your customers hang out for a couple of hours and use your wifi? Lots of places offer free wifi to their customers and they're doing just fine. The service is pretty good, I'll give them that. The hispanic man always takes care of me and he's a good worker. That's about the only thing likable about Brasil. Not a fan of the atmosphere either because it's pretty dark inside but I won't hold it against the restaurant because I guess that's just a personal preference. I wish I could write a more positive review because I hang out in Montrose a lot and Brasil is located at a prime location to hang out on a nice day but the quality of food, the price and the atmosphere makes it not favorable.

The only real reason to go to Brasil is because of their copious outdoor seating. The back patio is lovely - ample shade and shielded from the busy traffic of Westheimer. Their food and drink is decidedly mediocre. I have never been wowed or impressed by anything from their menu, ever. Yesterday, for example: --Beet and goat cheese salad: 4/5 - no complaints here, it had the right balance of components, although the beets weren't the freshest. --Hawaiian pizza: 2/5 - enough pineapple, but really skimpy on the other components. And no sauce, just cheese :/ they threw handfuls of arugula on top to make it "gourmet," which is a huge pizza pet peeve of mine. (I will die on the hill that throwing wilted greens on top of a pizza is NOT something that should be done in order to raise the price by $3-5) --Margarita carafe: 2/5 taste, 1/5 experience - this was particularly bad, but also on-brand, for Brasil. Their happy hour chalkboard clearly advertised an $18 margarita carafe, on the rocks or frozen. We proceeded to order a carafe on the rocks, which our server argued wasn't a thing, until he turned and read the chalkboard. He then turned to discuss with his manager(?), who informed him, "yes, the carafe is $18 during happy hour, four margaritas for the price of three." Five minutes later, after we (finally) ordered it, they brought to our table a half-filled carafe that was mostly ice. Half-filled not being an exaggeration, it looked like someone had already poured out half of it. We barely got two margaritas out of that thing I've been to Brasil many times over the past 4-5 years. The readily available outdoor seating for large-ish groups is really the only reason we find ourselves returning
