This place is great for both bbq and bbq fusion with fried rice! The brisket was super tender and moist, the bark was very flavorful and not overly salty. Probably one of my favorite briskets in Houston so far. The bbq fried rice was also excellent with the cubed brisketz eggs and Chinese sausage. The prime brisket went with it very well! It didn't need sauce. The poorman's mac is excellent. Tomato based Mac with bacon was such a good refreshing and not so heavy side. The elote was decent.
The staff was very helpful in explaining the options on the menu and friendly. There is plenty of outdoor seating if the indoors is too crowded.

I am pleasantly surprised they had plenty of food left when we went about 1 hour before closing. I was told this place can close early if they sell out of everything but we got lucky today. The ribs were delicious and possibly the best I have ever had. The Mac n cheese was possibly the best I have ever had as well. They were fast as well with the service.

Brisket was very good: I really enjoyed the mustard BBQ sauce and the fried rice as well. Pickles were good too. Loved the Asian fusion Texas BBQ flavors, they even had Chinese sausage in the brisket fried rice. A nice and creative pairing of meats.

The wait is a bummer. We had to wait 40 min for our food. But ate it over dinner and next day breakfast. Food was great (skip the Mac n cheese)
