I got the Halibut and my wife got the Redfish Pontchartrain and both were so salty, couldn’t even taste the fish! Will not go back! Great atmosphere but service and food were very disappointing. BRIX has long been one of my favorite restaurants in the Vintage Park area. My family, friends, and I have been coming here for years—even before the pandemic—and we’ve recommended it to many others. The Brix Burger and craft cocktails have always been standout favorites.
That’s why our most recent visit left us a little disappointed. The Brix Burger, usually top-notch, didn’t taste quite the same. While the bun and toppings were consistent, the beef itself seemed less flavorful and not as high quality as in the past. We also noticed a change with the cocktails. The Old Fashioned, which we’ve always enjoyed here, didn’t have the signature large ice cube this time—something small but important to the overall experience, especially at a premium price point.
We truly hope this was just a one-off visit, as BRIX has set a high standard over the years. We’ll be back in a couple of months to give it another try and are optimistic that everything will be back to the level we’ve come to love.

We had a retirement party and we had a total of 11 people in our group. Nita, the owner was great at communicating via email and understanding what we needed. Once there we were so pleasantly surprised at the beautiful space they had for us. It so exceeded our expectations. Our waitress, Hannah was so knowledgeable on all the menu and patient with our party. We will definitely have future gatherings there.

During the entire planning process leading up the day of the event Nita went above and beyond to make this a seamless and enjoyable planning experience. Could not thank her enough for being a pleasure to work with. The day of the event it could have not been more perfect. Everything was set up better than we expected. The staff was some of the best servers we have ever had so attentive to every detail and to everyone. The food was some of the most delicious and fresh meals we have ever had. All the guests were raving about the meal. I could not recommend Brix Wine Cellars more for ANY event as well as for any gathering or night out! Us and all our guests will definitely be back!

We hosted our son's rehearsal dinner (35 people) and welcome party (100 people) at Brix and could not have been more thrilled with the experience. Nita was fantastic to work with and helped us plan out food and drinks for our large group. She also gave recommendations for flowers and decorations and provided signage. She helped with moving the dinner along so that we were ready to greet our guests as they arrived for the welcome party. Her staff (Cheryl, Zach and Matt) were super friendly and attentive. Everyone commented that the food was outstanding. And it goes without saying that the wine and cocktail selections were fantastic. Nita helped us choose options for each event that were great quality and value. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We had the rehearsal dinner in the Bordeaux room and then opened to the Grotto and Vista rooms and some outdoor patio space for the welcome party. Everyone had a fantastic time. We were thrilled with our choice and wouldn't hesitate to host another event here.
