This was my first time eating @ Brown Bag Deli 290/Hollister area. I ordered a roast beef and jalapeño cheese on the jalapeño bread and it was delicious, not to mention whoever’s playlist was on the speaker was lovely. The staff were quick & had a lovely disposition, AND I had the pleasure to be entertained by every thing from Teena Marie to the Isley Brothers, while having my lunch. I will mos def be back.

Just the smell of the place enticed me to order a sandwich (originally was just picking one up for someone else) everything was on point and taste was spot on. I cant wait to return again and have the mambo italiano no onions yellow mustard

Service was quick, it was packed at lunch. It’s a deli, clean, seating is basic. Parking is good. Generous sized sandwich. I didn’t care for chicken salad. It lacked flavor. Lotta eggs, never had eggs in chicken salad and would not order it, given that. Bread was fresh. Toppings were fresh. Ive had wraps and those were good.

Definitely will be back! Great sandwiches and very fresh ingredients! Today was my first time here and it was delicious. Only waited a few minutes for my food to be made. Good price for a good sized sandwich too!
Sandwiches and they dont skimp on the meat **5-20-25 edit** this place has really fallen from grace the portions are pathetic the ingredients are lower quality and they've upcharged for the reduced quality I wont be back and I wouldn't recommend anyone else either.
