For regular people y'all will probably be alright. I had got a chicken fried steak meal and OMG! It was DELICIOUS with a capital D. I came back though and obviously my name has been tarnished and they over salted the gravy. I mean WAY over salted. Like no way it was accidental. And I could tell the staff was acting weird. So good food. But bad business. Not people that stand on the business of their food.

This place reminds me of Queen's barbecue in Galveston I grew up in Galveston and that was my favorite barbecue place. I will continue to come here with my family.

I have it saved in my Google maps!This place is a little gem!MUST try especially if you’re looking for a cozy lunch/dinner spot.I got my brisket & turkey to go thinking I’ll finish the meal later and only have a quick bite for lunch.But as soon as I tasted the brisket….. I felt as if I was in a saloon in the wild Wild West, dining with real cowboys. I finished the whole plate.YeeeHAAA & AMEN to their Brisket.

I ate there a while back and the Bar-B-Q beef sandwich wasn’t good. I decided to give them a second chance a year later thinking the food improved and the food is still terrible. I see why I when go there I’m the only customer there, I don’t know how they stay in business.

I wish I could give only one star!! After all these years this place been here the food is TERRIBLE!! And the white lady in the front got a bad attitude as well as the black man that be making the plates!! Brown sugar more like brown boo-boo lol!! CLOSE IT DOWN!!!

The cook was very rude and disrespectful I order a baked potato with extras and he was like there a 1.50 extra like I couldn't afford it but I said that is fine. I finished my meal and my husband wanted a plate so I wanted to order him some sliced BBQ I asked the plate with two sides then he pulled out some bread to put it on I said no I want the plate he told the cashier to come and see what I wanted because he didn't understand me she told him then he asked if I wanted sausage and I said what comes with the plate the cashier just told him what I want I don't understand why is he still questioning me..I just left... I felt like he would not talk to the white men like that.. I felt very disrespected Im a paying customer and shouldn't be treated like I'm stupid and don't have money..

If you want the most tender good to d bone oxtails, Brown Sugar Bar B Que is the restaurant to visit. The ribs, sauages, brisket with cornbread is also great. Plus staff service is on point, very helpful and friendly. AND they were open at 7am!!!
