Thanh Da duck bamboo shoot vermicelli. The service is getting worse and worse, talking rudely to customers, bringing food out like it's an insult to the customer, the food brought out is raw beef, when it comes in and gets it done again it's overcooked and the soup is tough. The duck's peanuts don't have any sweetness from the meat. No one knows how to come back and ask if the customer needs anything else.

Be careful when you eat bun mang vit here. My family member had to go to icu after getting food poison in this place by eating bun mang vit. He had serious bacterial imfestion and had to go through blood transfusion at a hospital for a week.

I live in Toronto, Canada, and had the opportunity to enjoy duck bamboo shoots at this restaurant.

In my opinion, I have never eaten duck bamboo shoot vermicelli this delicious. Vermicelli or vermicelli, duck meat, salad, even fish sauce are all very delicious.

I went with a Vietnamese friend and he said this is his favorite Duck Noodle Soup place. To my surprise steamed Duck came as a part of salad with a bowl of noodle soup. I opted for clear Mien (mung bean noodle) instead of the rice noodle. The duck didn’t smell gamey, and the sweet ginger dipping sauce was nice. I ordered large but it was too much food. Small is big enough for an average Asian man. They gave me a lot of food for the price as you might expect from our Chinatown ;)

The name of the restaurant speaks for itself. Their specialty is the Bun Mang Vit. You can order a small or large bowl, but whatever you decide, it's worth it. The bamboo slices are fresh and the clear broth is divine. It comes with a side of Goi, you can ask for the sauce to be on the side if it's too overpowering for you. Another item I order with the noodles are the Com Bo Luc Lac. They cook the beef medium well and you can ask for a fried egg on top of your fried rice. Amazing food, great service and the price is reasonable. You can't get this anywhere else!

I’ve been coming here since 2018, and I absolutely love their egg rolls. It’s rare to find that unique flavor anywhere else. I always order the grilled pork with vermicelli and rice—it never disappoints. Their Luc Lac is outstanding as well, with fresh herbs and vibrant veggies that elevate every bite. If you’re doing takeout, be patient as the receptionist might not speak English and will usually hand the phone to someone who does. This place is truly a hidden gem for Vietnamese cuisine in Houston.
