Create your own hamburger. Double meat 5oz is a lot of food. A single will do next time.

Best food. So fresh. I got the spicy burger with the 5oz patty and everything was hot and flavorful. And the French fries were crispy and good. Great customer service I will definitely go back.

Definitely one of the best burgers I’ve had. The smokiness of the patty comes through each bite. The bacon is cooked to perfect crisp.

We waited around 45 min in total though so I doubt I’ll be returning.

WOOOWW. The burgers were so delicious, but the (optional) spice killed me, in a good way. I love spicy food and didn’t think their “spicy” was going to mean anything. But it kicked my ass. I got two different kinds of peppers plus ghost peppers sprinkled on top. The tater tots were crisp, warm and fluffy with plenty of flavor. Beer list was solid. You can bet I’ll be back!

The service and the atmosphere is great. It was crowded but they were very nice. However, the burger is a little bit cold and i dont get the hype. But it was a good experience

Holy crap. Hoooollllleeyyyy mollleyyy

Best burger ive ever had in my life. The combination of flavors flanking the juiciest beef party bookended by sweet bread?! Absolute heaven.

This has ruined all other burgers. Get this ASAP!

Burger-Chan has been on the top of my list of restaurants to check out for a while because I've seen it on Yelp's Top 100 Places to Eat year after year. I don't go to Houston much, so I have to plan my food stops when I do. That being said, I'm glad I finally checked out Burger-Chan this time.

Food: The burgers were worth the hype. I love that they use quality ingredients, and the sauces are made in-house. I also love that I can select as many free toppings as I want, but next time I go, I will not add as many because there was too much in my burger. I know it was my choice, so I need to remember that less is more.

Service: When I walked in, there were clipboards with sheets of paper to mark on to order with. The process can be a little overwhelming, especially since I've never been before, but overall, the it was pretty straightforward. Once I filled out the sheet, I took it to the front counter and handed it to the person to ring up the order. She was still able to give me some recommendations since it was my first time going, which was nice. I was handed a buzzer afterward so they could buzz me when the food was ready. It didn't take long for the food to come out, which was nice.

Ambiance: The decor was simple but unique. I enjoyed reading the quotes on the wall. Other than that, there are a good number of seats inside.

Overall, I enjoyed my burger from here. I recommend checking it out, as it's not your typical burger shop.

Burgers are great. Love all the options. Haven’t retired the chicken or other sandwiches but want to. Tater tots and sweet potato fries are good choices. Live the scallion aioli and ranch for dips!

burger-chan isn't just a burger joint; it's a family affair with a passion for great food. Diane, one of the owners, is attentive to details and caters to your taste with suggestions you may enjoy. After a few visits she remembers people's names and makes you feel very welcome. And the rest of the staff is great as well,

My favorite is the juicy 5 oz. beef patty with melted cheddar, scallion aioli, topped with a gooey fried egg and soy Serrano peppers inside the brioche bun. This cheese burger is a symphony of flavors and textures in every bite. I have been here many times and have yet to try any of the other menu items just because I love this burger so much! But for those who want something different, there is also chicken breast, breaded mahi mahi, and falafel sandwiches.

The French fries, golden brown and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, are the perfect accompaniment. And don't forget the cheese curds, gooey and cheesy, is a delightful indulgence.

If you're looking for a satisfying lunch and owners who genuinely care about the customer experience the burger-chan is the place to eat.

Vegetarian options: There is a falafel sandwich available.

Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu.
