Fire sides, unique umami burgers. Idk what they cook it with but it tastes unique. I assume it's soy sauce or something, but I don't eat it often so I'm not sure.
Their only detriment is that they are straight up just a lunch place so if you're craving them earlier that like 11am or later then 3pm you'll have to plan to come another day!

after looking at places to find houston's best burger my boyfriend and i settled here. in my opinion, no it is not houston's best burger. do you get your monies worth? yes. is it worth the drive? i don't think so. the shake was more liquid than thick and that's okay if that's what you're into. the patties are bland. nothing gave it that over the top feeling. the fries were cold when we got the order. i got more of a smash burger and my boyfriend a regular burger. i do like the concept of building your own but at the cost of food coming out cold, not something i enjoy much. the portions for the burger are HUGE. but that's about it. the people are kind and the bathrooms and inside of the restaurant was clean. i wouldn't come back just because it's far from me it didn't live up to the hype for me but it was cool to try.

I’ve heard so much hype about Burger Chan over the years, and any time we’ve visited the food hall next door, they’ve always been packed. So it only felt right that we finally gave them a try. My family and I ordered two burgers, two hot dogs, fries, curly fries, and tots.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the expectations we had based on all the buzz. The tots and fries came out pretty dry. The tots were crispy, which I appreciated, but some pieces had that freezer-burn texture to them. The seasoning on the fries wasn’t really for me either, it actually made them taste even drier.
The burgers were just okay. I really like that they offer different bun options, but for me the patty is the main star of a burger, and it just didn’t hit the mark this time. On the bright side, the hot dogs got a thumbs-up from the family, though they weren’t anything particularly unique to the spot.
All that said, the staff was friendly and the place stays busy, so clearly a lot of people love it. I’m glad we finally got to try it, even if it wasn’t our favorite.

Never posted a review before but felt compelled to after having what I can only describe as a crunchy 5 oz burger. Like, the meat was dry and crunchy even though I had ordered the patty be done medium well. I don’t think I’ve had a crunchy smash burger before and please disregard this review if the burger is supposed to be like this.

One of my top 3 burgers of all time. I got the Mushroom Swiss w Aoli on Brioche and it was perfect. Slightly crispy bun slightly crispy patty perfect seasoning. Staff was super nice too !

Went with my son and got burgers. I got a double patty with a few extra toppings and my son got a kid meal burger. The pattys were juicy and full of flavor. Fries were great and had a nice seasoning to them. Great meal.
It’s a good burger. Interesting location and great staff.

Very bad experience. I ordered American cheese and my boyfriend ordered cheddar, but when we got home with our to-go order they had put cheddar on both. Also it was too salty. So disappointing, especially because now we’re hungry and can’t go back to fix it. This was our first time trying this place and we won’t be coming back.

You fill out your request in a paper on entering and then pick up your food at the counter. Highly recommend their curly fries, and chicken sandwiches.
